Ah, the report of the treasurer now
For this day, February twenty-two.
Last time we spoke, you asked of me just how
I planned to pay for Shannon Reeves.  Who knew?

Now five hundred from the state committee
That certainly helps.  And another five
From S.B.A. was an enormous key.
I tell you now that lecture is alive.

As for check writing I have hit a wall.
We owe the charity money we raised,
But SBA does not answer my call.
Their complete incompetence has me crazed.

And to the Bimmer, my “moderate” friend,
I gave her cash so her (pleading) would end.

We have $1500 currently from which we owe a check to Alzheimer’s for $27.02, though I’d like to raise that number to $30 to be slightly more respectable.  YAF told us that we only need to come up with $1000 to get Shannon Reeves in here, but I think I have some moral qualms only giving $1000, when I told the SBA we needed a full $500 more, but then again, my sense of morality is not particularly highly developed so I could be swayed on this point.
