Pitifully cries echo from a cavern off the main hatching sands. Cautiously you enter the caverns finding many young dragons being attended two by a Golden Queen and her rider. She when she turns and sees you and smiles beckons you to her. Hesitantly you move towards her trying not to stare at the little dragons that seem to look at you with some small hope in there swirling eyes. The woman seems to size you up before speaking her voice almost a whisper.
�Are you here hoping to rebond one of these abandoned dragons?� She asks you, you try not to flinch as her queen�s eyes bore into the back of your head.
�Abandoned dragons?� You almost squeak out in shock, who�d ever stand to impress and then leave the dragon like nothing had happened. She has this look on her face like she�s heard this question before and sighs.
�Sadly it does happen, for what ever reason the rider rejects the dragonet, or at times a rider will simply vanish and strangely some of the dragons don�t go between and simply suffer. Those that survive we try and find new bonds, some of the bonds are just as strong as those formed on the hatching sands some are not but the best is the dragon has someone to look to. "Usually V'ran and Firith are here with Ykarith and me but since she's clutched, most of his time is spent with Firith on the hatching sands." She explains then pauses for a second, "forgive me I've simply been babbling on."
�No it�s okay go on,� you tell her interested. She smiles glad to be forgiven.
�You see Firith was abandoned herself that�s why their here a lot, it�s truly a grate help when they�re able to help. Especially since we�ve quite a few abandons at this time,� She tells you. �Would like to know the requirements for the rebonding she asks eyeing you as some of the smaller dragonet inch there way closer. You tell her you would since you can�t seem to take your eyes off one of the larger hatchlings. �Well we haven�t even exchanged names I�m Zenarta, and I�m sure you�ve already guess my queens names is Ykaraith.� You nod distantly and murmur your name and the hatchling inches it�s way closer to you.
1. Just as the hatching sands rules state your persona must have a separate web-page set up, before you apply, no persona, no dragon. I don't care if its just there stats just have the page prepared.
2. On your page, make sure it pertains to pern or explain how they got to Wu Weyr and that you have linked back to Wu Weyr, using this URL: http://www.oocities.org/wuweyr
3. Your persona shouldn't have over 3 pets, yes less then those of the hatching rules but these are abandoned dragons they need extra attention. Not all can be white, gold or bronze fire lizards! If they own a runner not more then two also be aware they won't have much time for these runners. After impression the rider will need to find a caretaker for the runner(s). Runners are almost as demanding as dragons.
4. Just to make sure you've read these rules, in the comments section please ask for a dragon that�s pink. This way I know you've read the rules.
5. You must have you're dragon up with in a week of reciving the image. I will though give you a two-day warring before hand. You may ask me for more time. However, if you don't say good-bye to your chance to rebond the dragon if you don't get it up in time. You could drive it between also.
6. I don't bite! I'm just being extra careful. E-mail me with any questions, concerns, /constructive/ criticism etc.
7. If you see a dragon that isn't abandoned and has simply relocted please let me know.
