Hatching of clutch 1, 8/28/00As the candidate's took there place on the sands, two of the eggs started to move and then they rolled in to each other. The eggs shattered and a green and a brown found them self’s in a small heap. Once they freed them selves from each other, the green ran toward the girls and the brown toward the boys. The brown rushes toward the boys but trips over him self and starts to cry piteously, many of the boys rush over to the brown setting him right and making sure he's ok. As Arcinio is brushing of some sand from the browns nose a shocked look passes over his face. "You want me Irayith?" The other boys step back, giving Arcinio and his new brown some room. The green sat in front of the girls as if not know what to do till Ura steps toward the green. "Zunaith are just going to sit there until it's the end of time? Let's go get you some thing to eat!" The green jumps up at the mention of food and Ura and the small green leave to get some thing to eat. Almost as soon as brown and green leave, the sands three of the remaining eggs hatch. A brown, and two blues. The smaller blue is first on his feet, followed by the brown. Caroth nudges the last blue before he moves toward the candidates. The brown is first to chose, he runs in to his chosen one and ends up partly siting on Arbrethil's lap. Many people cannot help but laugh at this sight. A bronze fire lizard comes from between landing on Arbrethil's should and greets the brown kindly. However, it seems one fire lizard is not to pleased with one of the blues. Selener seems to have a very displeased fire lizard on his hands at this time but another candidate, Elise, soon calms the bronze. Selener thanks his friend before lead his new blue from the hatching grounds. The last blue seems to sneak up on his new rider Duvall and gives the boy a good shock before realizing that the blue wants him. "Inzuith don't scare me like that! No, no it's ok I'm not mad at you." Duvall hugs the blue; to reassure he's not mad, then leads the blue off the sands. The remaining candidates straiten their half circle around the eggs before the largest egg starts to hatch. The first thing to become visible is a gold foot then the gold head followed by the remaining feet. The gold jumps to remove the shell and soon find her chosen. Let us say, as the very least Jyeun was very surprised. "Zyraith? You want me?" Jyeun hugs the tinny queen and has tears in her eyes. "Oh of course we can get something to eat!" At those words, Jyeun and her new Queen Zyraith leave the sands. As all the candidates watch this, the five remaining eggs hatch. A bronze, blue, two greens, and a white? Caroth must have been hiding this egg from even her rider because her rider is just as shocked as the rest. Caroth has a proud look to her as ever on looks on in awe at the white. Bronze and blue run to the same candidate but it's obvious the bronze reached Charraz first. Because the blue slinks back in disappointment that lasts all of 15 seconds. As he soon runs in to Nirogel as his backing up and the two seem quit content with each other. Both greens are fighting over Elise until one gives up when it sees Riza. The white pounces on her chosen one soon after her two sisters have chosen. Kirisira grins at her white and hugs the little dragon. Her fire lizard chirrups in greeting to the white. |
