Well hurry up then I want get to the top before nightfall." He called out to Mutaki, laughing when his brother took a a wrong step and slid backwards down the hill on his back a good 20 feet. Kumi came to a halt so his brother could catch up; snow didn't last long at Midori. Kumiya was planning to make the little time they had something to remember, though Mutaki didnt seem to think climbing the largest was worth the thrill ride they'd get in the end. "Why do we have to climb up this big hill Kumi?" Mutaki whined, "it's taken forever why couldn't we just slide down one of the smaller hills?" Kumiya rolled his eyes grabbing on to his brother's hand hauling him along up the rest of the way. Once at the top he let his brother rest as he positioned the huge metal baking sheets that they used in the kitchen. His sister was going to kill him when she found he'd stole the large sheet to do something as juvenile as ride down the snow covered hills. "Quality not Quantity Mu, wouldn't you rather have a ride you'll remember forever. Then a bunch of little rides that youll forget when your grandfathers age?" Kumiya watch his younger brother mull over this for awhile before answering. "You mean like when Yumi made those really great pies and everyone still talking about them?" Kumiya nodded smiling at the comparison his brother had made, though he couldn't help but agree with Mutaki those bubbly pies had been wonderful. It was a shame Yumi had never been able to duplicate those pies since. "So are you ready for the ride of a lifetime Mutaki?" Mutaki nodded his head up and down vigorously in reply. Sitting down on the large baking sheet Kumi braced himself with his long legs to keep himself along with the baking sheet to keep it from sliding away, he then pulled Mutaki into his lap. "Ready Mu?" "Yes!" Mutaki replied with glee, grinning Kumiya launched the two of them down the hill's relatively steep slope. Mutaki let out a high pitched squeal in delight as the pair raced down the slope. Kumi grinned knowing this ride was proving to his younger brother that the long trek up the hill had been worth it. As they neared the bottom Kumiya realised he'd forgotten about the giant snowdrift and there was no time to change their heading straight into it. ---- "I can't believe you Kumiya what if that rider from Rylsen and her dragon hadn't been there to pull you along with Mutaki from that snow drift hmmm?" Yumi was mad at him not only that he'd stolen one of the kitchen's baking sheets. Kumiya found himself squirming under his sister's intense gaze and wished she'd stop looking at him like she was going to grill him alive. Can we take him to Rylsen Minaeya? Minaeya hushed her dragon as she studied the youngster his aura it was a strong one, at the same time she couldn't help but laugh at the boys predicament with his elder sister. It was quite obvious he usually didn't act as juvenile as he had earlier that day just by how his sister was grilling him about it all. After the lecture was over Minaeya sat down to the boy who was still wrapped up in a blanket. "Have you ever thought of becoming a dragonrider?" She asked the boy casually. "Who doesn't?" He replied, "Not like I'll ever get the chance Yumi's going to have me salving away in that kitchen for the rest of my life." Minaeya giggled at his exaggeration. "Well how about after you finish your punishment me and Auspexeth come back and we'll take you to Rylsen? We're short a few candidate for the Flurry this year even though we dont even have half the eggs we've had in the past years." "Seriously?" He asked turning to look at her, it was quite obvious that he was trying not to sound overly eager about it all. "Seriously," Minaeya replied smiling at him. ---
