Uzirren slipped from his bed it was early morning; Uzirren was quite drained even though he'd gone to bed quite early. He'd enjoyed very little of the sleep he’d had most of it being plagued by nightmares. Dressing quickly and quietly he then opened his door, Rari his feline jumped of the bed quickly following her master. The short olive skinned, auburn hair boy had been not sleeping well for the past seven day due to threats from the basic bully of Wu. Moving down the hall toward lower caverns Uzirren sighed, he truly didn't want to start his chores but there was nothing better to do. Well one advantage to being up this early if he started them before the other weyrbrats as many called them woke he could avoid the some of bullying he'd been receiving from Kuruy and the other elder boys. Almost no one was awake at these hours, other then maybe then the head cook, or headwoman. Rari 'wrowed' before running a head to a few voices that where in the lower caverns.
The unfamiliar voice replied sounding a tad despareted, "F'nar your sure Wu has no candidates to spare? I Mean we have three clutches on the sands surely there are few that could be spared?” The unfamiliar voice. "I'm sorry B'wen but there are no candidates. I've checked and rechecked. But there are no extra candidates.” F'nar said. Just then Rari came up to the two riders and rubbed agents F'nar's leg as if saying 'pet me' then moving over to B'wen’s leg. "Eh... hello there now what are you doing out here?” B'wen said picking the feline up and petting Rari under the chine then put her carefully down on the floor. Uzirren looked around the corner to see Rari coming toward him. Uzirren took a step back but ended up loosing his balance toppling backwards. It was more then obvious the two dragonmen had heard him fall. He silent cursed his misfortune before his world went dark. When Uzirren came too both F'nar & B'wen where looking over him and Rari was sitting on his chest. “No suitable candidates… Eh, F’nar?“ B'wen was standing over him and seemed to almost be appraising him as one would a runner colt. Uzirren resisted squirming under B'wen’s gaze. “He’s hardly old enough to be candidate B'wen!” F’nar exclaimed, “He doesn’t even look 11 turns.” Uzirren couldn’t help be scowl at the Blueriders comment, he was well past 11 turns he was going to be 15 turns in a matter of a few 7days. Just because he wasn’t even 5’4” didn’t mean he was a child. Rari removed herself from his chest and promptly started to bathe herself back turned to him. B'wen did his best to restraint himself from laughing, “F’nar I do believe you just insulted him.” B'wen offered a hand to the boy who hesitantly took it. “I do believe he’s older then he looks. Just old enough to possibly impress one of Linaeth, or Adegometh eggs once they hatch.” B’wen grinned as the boy caught his statement his mouth opening a closing like fish out of water in shock. “Me impress a dragon?” Uzirren stammered, in shock he was floored what dragon would want scrawny him for a rider. “I don’t see why not,” B’wen replied he couldn’t help but flash a smirk at F’nar. He was surprised the search riders here hadn’t already put this potential out on the, Tuzuth had almost nagged him to shards want him to stop and check this Weyr it seems Tuzuth intuition had been right. He wondered if K'mon & Nanvooth had as good of luck as he had. “That is if you want to come with me and Tuzuth to Draco’s Inferno, so how ‘bout it?” Uzirren was in shock he never thought he’d end up as a candidate; sure his mother had been a dragonrider. He’d never thought of being one himself let alone one at another Weyr, he looked over at F’nar hopping for a little help with this decision. F’nar saw the hesitance in Uzirren he knew the boy was attached to Wu since he’d live here all his life. The change in the boy was obvious after what he said. “I’ll do it but, do I have to leave Rari here?” Uzirren said picking up the feline.
