Lesson 1 will be about learning what consoles you'll be playing on. Whats a console you ask? Well you piece of shit, its what you probably call a "system". Its something you play games on. Excluding the PC... Calling a console a system is a no-no! Console is the proper name and I want you to start using that word alot. There are 3 next generation consoles. I know your wondering so Ill tell you. A next gen console is the latest consoles on the market. The 3 consoles are, Gamecube, Xbox, Playstion 2. These are what you'll be doing most of your gaming on. You may want to start out with only one and work your way up to a 2nd then 3rd console. Either console is a fine choice. Lesson 2 will be about learning the gaming companies. Nintendo is the most well known because of its games. It has been around for over 113 years and took notice in the gaming world in late 1988's. Sony makes the Playstation and Playstation 2. The PS2 outsales the Xbox and GC greatly to this day due to its over whelming amount of games. Or as gamers would call it, "Game Library". The Xbox has grade A exclusives. Games like Halo and Shenmue 2, are just some of the many great games. The Xbox is also the most powerful of all the 3 systems and has Xbox Live! "Live" is a internet hookup for the Xbox. It allows you to play your favorite games online and talk to other using a headset. Because of this feature, the Xbox is my overall favoritie system. Its made by Microsoft. Chances are their the same people who operate the computer your reading this with now. |
