Metroid Fusion is the newest installment in the Metroid series, ali\ong with Metorid Prime. Metroid Fusion takes place after Super Meroid 2(Thats after Metroid Prime). Samus is defending a research station on the Metroids home world. There, she is attacked by a creature called "X". When returning to the research station, the "X" creature starts getting to Samus's Nerous System. Samus is on the verge of death, the X had fused samus with her armor and it looked hopeless to save her. Then, just in time, a cure was found. It was a Metroid cell. The cell was injected into Samus and the "X" was destroyed. Her Armor was removed and all looked well. Then a research station on the Metroids Planet exploded. Samus is sent to find out why. Now was that long enough? Anyway, the gameplay is solid! Like the classics. All your abilities are here, including Morph Ball, Missiles, etc. Another thing I like is the maps. Its really easyto navigate through Fusion, never getting lost. Plus, bosses are a challenge! Hard like in past Metroid titles. There are many things to keep you busy in Fusion, including the link feature. It lets you link with Metroid Prime to play the First Metroid. Yes, the NES version. Although short, Fusion is a good buy, for fans of the series, or someone looking for a good game on the GBA.
