Premier Division Clubs
BENTINCK (Hebburn) Hebburn Comprehensive School
Always a tough team to beat, Bentinck are one of only two sides who have never been defeated by Fireplace / Visage prior to 1999-2000 season. A top-three finish and qualification for the Champions League is probable.
CARPET WAREHOUSE (South Shields) Quarry Lane
Lost out in the Dave Foster Cup semi last season to Visage 2-1. Will be looking at finishing at least high enough for the UEFA Cup.
COLLEGE (South Shields) South Tyneside College Martec
GREY HEN (South Shields) Temple Park
Known as the Ship & Royal last season, they reached the Tony Pickett Cup final in their debut season.
JEFF RAINE DAIRYMAN (South Shields) Temple Park
Played as the Sappers for the last three seasons, the Dairy men will be looking for a mid-table finish, with the cups possibly their best chance of success.
LOOKOUT INN (South Shields) Temple Park
Formerly Mariner Windows, the Lookout will do very well to avoid relegation after being called into the Premier Division at the last moment.
LONGSHIP (Hebburn) Hebburn Bedewell School
Formerly Hebburn Elmfield. Potential successors to Wardles' crown after finishing runners-up in the league last season, the Longship have a pool of exciting young players from which to select their team, notably the Clark brothers and also Longstaff and Diamond. They are the current Bill Finch Cup holders.
LOW SIMONSIDE (Jarrow) King George V Playing Fields
Club of many ex-Visage players, such as Deeb Maguire, Dodge, Burnham, Angus, Selkirk, Egan, Forster etc. Look likely to struggle.
MILLENIUM REMOVALS (Jarrow) King George V Playing Fields
Did well last season to finish 6th. Although a repeat is a possibility, it is unlikely to be bettered this time round.
SILKSWORTH CALBERTO (Sunderland) Silksworth Sports Complex
Recently moved to a new home after previously playing at South Hylton.
