August 2000 As a seasoned MUNer with 35 conferences under my belt I can say without a doubt that UNIMUN was the single best conference I have ever been to with National High School MUN taking second.
As part of the official Millennium Activities of the United Nations Department of Public Information, and in association with American Model United Nations Inc., the first ever MUN Conference, sponsored by the United Nations, was held at UN Headquarters. On the day prior to the conference UN diplomats, NGO leaders and other experts will be available for substantive briefings with all participants. Also, the final resolutions will be part of a formal report presented to world leaders as they gather for the Millennium Summit.
