The Tech Alumni Association has begun its annual raffle fundraiser for 2005 featuring a Mustang GT or $30,000 cash. The winner of this new generation Mustang GT will be drawn as part of the Veteran’s Day Celebration on November 11, 2005. Tickets are only $10 each and a maximum of 10,000 tickets will be sold. In addition, a second place drawing will be held on November 10, 2005 for a Harley Davidson motorcycle.

Additional details and specifics on the Mustang GT will be made available in the coming months via our website. The grand prize winner will be presented with a check for $30,000 and a certificate from our participating dealer on how to order their new Mustang GT at a "special price".

Melba White, President Tech Alumni Association said "Our raffles have been an excellent fundraising tool for the Tech Alumni Association, and this fundraising project will help retire the mortgage on the David S. Long Alumni Center – a very worthwhile goal. We appreciate the support from alumni and friends of WVU Tech. This fundraiser will make someone very happy."

The winner will be given a check for $30,000 that will allow them to "build-their-own" Mustang GT with the help of our participating dealer or keep the cash. The winner must be at least 18 years old. The raffle is available to participants worldwide and void where prohibited by law. The winner does not need to be present to win and will be contacted immediately following the drawing.
