Rogue is like many of your typical southern belles. She's got the accent, and the girl-next-door beauty, yet she has something that sets her apart; her mutant powers! She can absorb people's memories and powers when skin-to-skin contact is made. Every since the incident with Carol Danvers(Ms. Marvel), in which case she absorbed her powers and memories permenantly, she has been very careful about touching anyone. As a result she gained Carol's super-strength and ability to fly. She discovered her powers when she recieved her first kiss from her childhood friend, Cody, and rendered him unconcious and comatose and since then has been reluctant to let anyone near her. Fellow X-Man, Gambit has found out that that getting close to her will be a super-human task all in itself!
