Cruiserweight Championship Match
Referee: Brian Hebner
Rey Mysterio vs. Tajiri (c)
Tajiri's music hit in the arena and he made his way out to the ring as the
Cruiserweight Champion for a title defense against Rey Mysterio, who Tajiri
defeated to win the Cruiserweight Championship just four weeks ago. This past
Thursday, Tajiri sprayed black mist into the face of Nidia and the commentators
pointed out that she's suffering from impaired vision but unfortunately, it may
be permanent.
Before the match started, Rey Mysterio asked the referee to check Tajiri for
mist. Brian Hebner checked for it, but Tajiri had none in his mouth. Tajiri
kicked at Mysterio to back him off at the start of the match and then the two
locked it up in the center of the ring. Mysterio backed Tajiri towards the
ropes but Tajiri powered Mysterio to the corner. Both men continued with the
tie up until Tajiri flung himself through the ropes, pulling Mysterio down to
the outside of the ring with him.
Mid-match notes:
Tajiri went for the handspring elbow but Rey Mysterio countered it with a drop
kick to the back to send Tajiri to the outside of the ring. Rey Mysterio then
jumped on Tajiri with a plancha over the top rope and then he picked Tajiri up
and rolled him back into the ring.
Tajiri worked over the left arm of Rey Mysterio during the match.
Rey Mysterio headed to the top rope but Tajiri slowed him down with a stiff
kick to the head. Tajiri then perched Mysterio on the ropes and went for a
reverse arm bar from the ropes but Mysterio fought out of it, knocking Tajiri
down with a headbutt. Rey then jumped off at Tajiri and caught him in a tornado
DDT and then he pinned him but only got a two count.
Mysterio went for a springboard senton but Tajiri ducked it and then he kicked
Mysterio in the gut. Mysterio then hooked the ropes and gave Tajiri the 619 to
the gut and then he went for the West Coast Pop but Tajiri countered it into a
devastating power bomb pin for a two count.
Tajiri put Rey Mysterio in the tarantula and held onto it as long as he could
and then he went to the center of the ring for the kick of death but Mysterio
ducked it. Tajiri went for a sunset flip but Mysterio rolled through and then
gave Tajiri a drop kick to the face.
The finish:
Mysterio gave Tajiri a slingshot into the second rope and then he nailed Tajiri
with the 619 to knock him back to the center of the ring. Rey then stood up and
gave Tajiri the West Coast Pop and a couple guys (Jimmy Yang & Ryan Sakoda)
tried to get into the ring but security and officials restrained them. As that
was happening, Tajiri kicked Rey Mysterio in the head and then pinned him for
the three count to retain the title.
Winner and still Cruiserweight Champion, Tajiri
Backstage:
Vince McMahon was shown backstage and Josh Matthews caught up with him and
asked him how he's feeling about his match tonight? Vince said he's obviously
not quite as nervous as Josh is holding that microphone. How is he feeling,
what a stupid question to ask him. Doesn't he realize how deeply this hurts him
to have to do this tonight. Doesn't he realize how personal this is? This is
personal, yet at the same time it's business. You might say it's personal
business and there's a number of individuals rooting against him, including
Superstars on the roster. Vince then said that if anyone interferes in the
match tonight, they will not be employed. Not just here, but for anybody ever
again. He'll see to it. Vince then asked Josh what he wants to say now? He
wants to say "thank you very much." Vince demanded that he say it and
Josh uttered the words "thank you very much, Mr. McMahon."

A-Train vs. Chris Benoit
A-Train's music hit in the arena and he made his way out to the ring for a one
on one match against Chris Benoit.
Chris Benoit and A-Train locked it up in the center of the ring but A-Train
immediately powered Chris Benoit to the corner where he told Benoit that he's
nothing. Chris Benoit fought back with some right hands until A-Train knocked
Chris Benoit to the outside of the ring with a shoulder block.
Mid-match notes:
During the match, there was a lot of talk about how Chris Benoit was trained in
the Hart Dungeon, ran of course by Stu Hart who unfortunately passed away
Thursday night.
With Chris Benoit down on the mat, A-Train grabbed him by the legs and gave him
a slingshot into the bottom of the middle rope in what could be described as a
decapitator.
A-Train hooked Chris Benoit in a butterfly suplex and instead of falling back,
he sent Benoit forward onto A-Train's knee and then he pinned him for a two
count. After the move, Chris Benoit was noticeably bleeding from the mouth.
A-Train whipped Chris Benoit off the ropes and Benoit came back by sliding
under A-Train and then he kicked A-Train in the gut and planted him with a DDT.
A-Train grabbed a steel chair and brought it into the ring and then Benoit
knocked it out of his hand by kicking him a number of times. A-Train lifted
Chris Benoit above his head and Benoit tried to counter but he fell out of the
hands of A-Train onto the steel chair, head first. (scary moment) A-Train then
choked Chris Benoit and then he set the chair up in the corner.
To show that he's OK, Chris Benoit quickly battled back on A-Train and then he
rolled A-Train down to the mat and put him in the Crossface. As A-Train started
to break the hold, Chris Benoit grabbed A-Train by the waist and gave him a
series of German suplexes. Chris Benoit then went to the top rope but A-Train
yanked him down by pulling him to the center of the ring, sending him sailing
to the mat.
A-Train mocked Chris Benoit and he started to go to the top rope but Chris
Benoit got up and A-Train got back in the ring and gave Benoit the derailer and
a pin for a two count.
The finish:
A-Train then went to kick Chris Benoit but Benoit moved and A-Train put his
foot through the chair and Benoit went for the sharpshooter and he finally
hooked it on after having troubles with A-Train's long legs. Chris Benoit
forced A-Train to tap out to the sharpshooter to pick up the win!
Winner - Chris Benoit
Backstage:
Matt Hardy was shown backstage looking for Shannon Moore and he came across
John Heidenrich, who was choking Shannon out because little Johnny told him
that the tape was thrown in the trash. Matt claimed that it was Shannon Moore's
tape that they got rid of, not his. Matt said that he's got his tape and you
can rest assured that his tape will go to the new GM, whoever it may be. John
said that he'll talk to little Johnny and find out what's going on here. Maybe
he was wrong and he's sorry. He was over reacting, and Matt is still number one
with little Johnny. Matt and Shannon then went on their way.
In the arena:
The ring announcer took the time to recognize all the brave and women who are
in the audience and they are returning to the desert tomorrow to continue the
fight of Operation Iraqi Freedom. The ring announcer asked everyone to rise and
show their support and best wishes. Thank you.
Referee: Brian Hebner
Zach Gowen vs. Matt Hardy
Zach Gowen's music hit in the arena and he made his way out to the ring and
this is a one on one match with Gowen against Matt Hardy.
Matt Hardy and Zach Gowen locked it up in the center of the ring and Matt
turned Zach around and gave him a shot to the back. Matt then lifted Zach up
and put him in the corner and then slapped him across the face until Zach
returned the favor with a slap of his own.
Mid-match notes:
Zach pulled Matt Hardy into the turnbuckle and then he signaled that he'd be
going to the top rope but Matt nailed him and then gave him a body slam. Matt
then headed to the top rope and came off with a moonsault but Zach Gowen rolled
out of the way.
Zach gave Matt Hardy a drop kick to knock him out of the ring and then Zach
used the top rope as a springboard to jump on Hardy on the outside of the ring
to knock him down.
Back in the ring, Zach Gowen jumped at Matt Hardy with a cross body and a pin
for a two count. Right after that, Matt planted Zach Gowen with the side effect
and then he pinned him for a two count.
The finish:
Gowen hopped to the top rope and Matt gave him a clubbing blow to the back to
slow him down. Matt then went for a back suplex from the top rope but Zach
Gowen fought back and then he jumped on Matt Hardy with the moonsault and a pin
for a three count to get the win!
Winner - Zach Gowen
Backstage:
Vince McMahon was shown in the backstage area and Linda showed up. Vince said
that if it isn't his charming wife, Linda coming into his locker room to see
him dressed or undressed? Linda begged Vince not to go through with this
tonight. She knows he loves Stephanie. In the past, Linda turned her head but
tonight, Vince is doing something that he cannot come back from. Linda then
asked Vince to reconsider. Vince said that he anticipated Linda coming in here
and he knows what she's all about. She's all about an advantage and a
concession. Vince is going to go through this match, but he's going to give her
concession. Vince can only win this match by submission but Stephanie can also
win by pinfall or submission. Vince said that he needs something back. Since
Stephanie insists on going through with this match, this match now is No Holds
Barred. Linda got angry and left the room. Vince asked the question; 'What, was
it something I said?'

The APA vs. the Basham Brothers
The music of the APA hit in the arena and they made their way out to the ring
to answer the challenge made earlier tonight by the Basham Brothers in this tag
team match!
Bradshaw started the match off in the ring against Doug Basham and Bradshaw
went over and taunted Danny and then he locked it up with Doug. Bradshaw
powered Doug into the corner and then he gave him a clubbing blow to the back
and then some right hands to start it off.
Mid-match notes:
Danny Basham charged at Faarooq but Faarooq caught him in a spinebuster and
then both men made the tag, bringing Bradshaw and Doug Basham into the ring.
Bradshaw got in the ring like a house of fire and he gave Doug Basham a vicious
power bomb and then a pin for a two count. Danny got in the ring and gave
Bradshaw a thumb to the eyes to slow him down, but that didn't last too long.
Bradshaw went for the clothesline from hell but Danny ducked it and then
Bradshaw gave him the fall away slam. Doug went to the top rope but Faarooq
grabbed him by the tights to stop him and then Bradshaw gave Doug the fall away
slam from the second rope. Bradshaw then pinned Doug but only got a two count
as Doug broke it up.
The finish:
Faarooq got in the ring and inadvertently ran into referee Mike Sparks to send
him down to the mat. Doug and Danny then took control and Bradshaw laid Doug
out with the clothesline from hell and then Shaniqua came out and nailed
Bradshaw in the back of the head with a club and then Danny got in the ring and
knocked Bradshaw down to the mat with a kick to the head and then pinned him
for the three count to get the win.
Winners - the Basham Brothers
Backstage:
The Bashams were shown celebrating and Josh Matthews caught up with them and
said that no one expected Shaniqua back tonight. Shaniqua said of course. It's
going to take a lot more than a clothesline from hell to keep her out of
action. Shaniqua pointed out what the clothesline from hell did and she pointed
out her bigger breasts, calling it swelling in her chest. The Bashams asked if
it's permanent and Shaniqua said that the doctor said that it could be
permanent. Shaniqua told them that they did very well and deserve to be
rewarded. Let's go and whip it good. The Bashams and Shaniqua then went on
their way.

match by pinfall or submission but Vince must force Stephanie to tap out.
Again, there will be no holds barred in this match and if Stephanie loses,
she'll have to step down as the General Manager of Smackdown!. If Vince McMahon

Stephanie out to the ring and Linda will be in Stephanie's corner as Sable will
be in Vince's corner.

corner. The referee called for a break and he got just that. It should be noted
that at the start of the match, you could hear some fans chanting "Cena,

Mid-match notes:
The fans honestly didn't know who to root for as they chanted "Let's go
Cena, let's go Angle."

The Big Show vs. Eddie Guerrero (c)
The Big Show's music hit in the arena and he made his way out to the ring as
the challenger for the United States Championship against Eddie Guerrero. It
should be noted that Eddie Guerrero's back is bandaged up after what happened
this past Thursday night on Smackdown!.

The Big Show easily over powered Guerrero.

tell Eddie that they're still the tag team champions but Eddie still wasn't too
happy with his loss to The Big Show.
Backstage:
Josh Matthews caught up with The Big Show and he congratulated him on his
victory tonight. Is there anything he'd like to say? The Big Show said that
he's so excited he can't even talk. Yeah, he'd like to say "I told
you." He said he'd beat Eddie Guerrero and he did. Big Show gave him a
beating that only a 7 foot 2, 500 pound giant could give. Eddie hit Big Show
with everything he had and it still wasn't enough. Big Show is a giant and that
means that nobody can take the US Title from him.
Heavyweight Championship Match
Biker Chain Match
Referee: Brian Hebner
The Undertaker vs. Brock Lesnar (c)
The following contest is a Biker Chain Match and the first wrestler to get the
chain may use it on his opponent. It looks like the "on a pole"
matches are back because the chain is suspended in the corner on a steel pole.
The Undertaker's music hit in the arena and he made his way out to the ring as
the challenger for the Heavyweight Title against Brock Lesnar!
The Undertaker went for a clothesline on Brock but Brock ducked it and got the
Undertaker to chase after him around the ring. Brock went behind Taker and then
shoved him into the corner and gave him a number of shoulder blocks and kicks
in the corner.
Mid-match notes:
Taker put Brock in an arm wringer and he went to the corner for the maneuver
referred to as 'old school' but Brock gave Taker some kicks and punches to stop
it.
Taker gave Brock a big boot and a leg drop and then he pinned him for a two
count. Taker then grabbed Brock by the arm and climbed the ropes and jumped off
with a hard shot to the back of the neck of Brock Lesnar.
Taker hung Brock up on the ropes and then he set his sights on the chain. Taker
climbed to the top rope and he went for the chain but the lights went out in
the arena and when the lights came back on, Taker was standing in the ring. You
could hear Taker say "shit" and that's when he started to climb back
up for the chain but Brock stopped him from doing so.
The steel steps wound up in the ring and Brock gave Taker a drop toe hold into
the steel steps. Brock then went to slam the Undertaker's head into the steel
steps but Taker blocked it.
On the outside of the ring, the Undertaker gave Brock Lesnar a piledriver on
the steel steps. Taker then climbed up to the top rope for the chain but Brock
was somehow able to get up to pull the Undertaker down. Taker grabbed Brock in
a triangle choke against the ropes and Brock fell to the ring apron as Taker
fell into the ring.
Brock picked up the steel steps in the ring and drove them into the
Undertaker's head to send him down to the mat and then Brock pinned Taker for a
two count. Brock immediately pinned Taker once again but only got a two count.
Brock went to use the steel steps again but Taker kicked them into the face of
Brock Lesnar to send him down to the mat.
Brock went for the chain with Taker down in the corner and Taker stood up and
pulled Lesnar down in the Last Ride position but Brock got out of it. Brock and
Taker then collided with a double clothesline to send each other down to the
mat.
Taker went for a choke slam but Brock countered it and gave Taker a spinebuster
and Brock pinned Taker but Taker got out of it with a triangle choke on Brock Lesnar.
Brock eventually countered the triangle choke by powering the Undertaker up and
giving him a power slam.
Brock went for a power slam but the Undertaker got out of it and put Brock in a
dragon sleeper. Brock fought out of it with some shots to the head and then he
lifted Taker above his head and gave him the F5. Brock then pinned the
Undertaker but he only got a two count as Taker got his foot on the bottom
rope.
Brock then climbed up and went after the Biker Chain and the Undertaker grabbed
him by the legs but Brock kicked at Taker to fend him off. But unfortunately
for Brock, that wasn't enough as the Undertaker gave Brock Lesnar a choke slam
from the very top rope. The Undertaker then set his sights on the steel chain
but the FBI made their way out to the ring. Taker disposed of Nunzio but
Stamboli and Palumbo dominated the Undertaker. Taker was eventually able to
fight them off.
Brock went for the F5 again but Taker got out of it and he gave Brock Lesnar
the Last Ride. Taker then went off the ropes and launched himself on the FBI on
the outside of the ring. Nunzio went to get the chain but he was unable to
reach it and he started climbing the pole but the Undertaker knocked him down
with a hard right hand. Taker then grabbed the steel chain and Vince McMahon
came out and knocked the Undertaker off the top rope.
The finish:
Brock Lesnar grabbed the steel chain and wrapped it around his wrist and then
he laid out the Undertaker with it. Brock then pinned the Undertaker for the
three count to pick up the win.
Winner and still Heavyweight Champion, Brock Lesnar
The Aftermath:
Vince McMahon quickly left the arena as Brock Lesnar grabbed the WWE Title and
celebrated his victory over the Undertaker.
