Chris Jericho opened RAW live from Baltimore by strutting to the ring just one week after making his surprise jump from SmackDown!
Jericho said that RAW is now his show. Y2J said he came to RAW because Eric Bischoff is a certified genius who knows the difference between a superstar and a loser. Jericho pointed to himself as a superstar and to the crowd as losers. Plus, Bischoff knows the difference between a superstar like Jericho and a has-been like Ric Flair.
Before Jericho could continue, Triple H walked out and cut short the monologue. The Game said he didn't give a flying crap why Jericho was there, but he knows that someone attacked Shawn Michaels last week and the assailant hadn't revealed himself. Triple H said that he and Jericho hated each other since he arrived in WWE. Triple H accused Y2J of attacking HBK as a means of getting even with The Game for defeating Y2J at WrestleMania. Y2J professed innocence at the accusation, and said that it was Triple H who attacked HBK first.
Triple H said he still considers HBK to be his best friend, and he thinks Y2J didn't have the balls to do it. Triple H said he would not leave the arena that night until he found out who did!
The Game left, and Jericho continued, but was cut off again by Rob Van Dam! RVD welcomed Jericho to RAW. RVD took issue with Y2J saying he's the best and challenged Y2J to a match for that night. Jericho accepted and the two got into shouting match that escalated into a brawl! Jericho kicked RVD to the mat and slithered out of the ring while taunting Mr. Monday Night the whole way!
Bubba Ray Dudley def. the Big Show in a table match
The Big Show had Bubba Ray right where he wanted him, until Trish Stratus raced into the ring and attempted to seduce Show! Trish pulled Show's head in close to give him a kiss, but slapped his face away! Spike Dudley crept up behind Big Show and head butted him with a Baltimore Ravens helmet. Bubba Ray grabbed the stunned Big Show and drove him through a table for the win!
Backstage, Lance Storm told Terri that he was glad to be in Baltimore because he's far away from the nation's capital. Storm said that just like America, the Undertaker was exposed last week as a weakened bully. Test caught the eye of someone approaching -- Sgt. Slaughter! Sarge said he didn't like what the UnAmericans were spouting and challenged Test to do something about it! Test said he would, and Sarge said he would show the maggot some ruthless American aggression!
Tommy Dreamer def. Bradshaw
Bradshaw attacked Tommy Dreamer without warning backstage. The Texan beat the Hardcore Champion into the ring where the Innovator of Violence picked up steam thanks to a wide array of objects. Bradshaw managed to sidewalk slam Dreamer off the top rope and followed with a powerbomb. Dreamer retaliated with a kendo stick shot to the head and got a near fall. Dreamer got the win after hitting a DDT onto the steel ringsteps.
Backstage, Molly introduced William Regal and Christopher Nowinski to her friend Victoria, who would be taking on Trish Stratus that night. Nowinski grabbed Victoria and asked if it was true that Molly is a virgin. Victoria said she is, and Nowinski discreetly told Regal that she wouldn't be for long!
Triple H accused Booker T of being HBK's assailant. Booker said he was innocent, but he was happy that Shawn got what was coming to him. Triple H threatened to knock Booker down to size if he was lying.
Booker T and Goldust def. William Regal and Christopher Nowinski
After dispatching Nowinski outside the ring, Goldust hit Regal with an Atomic Drop to set up a scissors kick from Booker T! Booker got the pinfall and celebrated in the ring with a Spineroonie!
Victoria def. Trish Stratus
Trish and Victoria battled for several moments until Victoria pulled up short and nursed her left leg. Several officials came down to help Victoria, but she suddenly kicked Trish out of the ring! The ruse worked as Victoria rolled up Trish and grabbed the ropes for leverage to get the pinfall! After the match, Molly ran down from the announce table and helped Victoria get some post-match shots in.
The Hardy Boyz def. Lance Storm and Christian by DQ
Matt Hardy went for the Twist of Fate to finish off Lance Storm, but Christian cut him off. Christian later went to nail Matt with the Tag Team Champinship, but was flipped over the top rope. Matt nailed the Twist of Fate on Storm followed by Jeff's Swanton Bomb! But before Matt could get the pinfall, Christian pulled him from the ring and got the disqualification. The UnAmericans beat on the Hardys until the Undertaker raced down to even things up. Storm and Christian raced backstage where they jumped in a car and sped off. Taker found a police motorcycle and gave chase!
Eric Bischoff tried to settle a dispute between Lilian Garcia and Howard Finkel over who deserves the bulk of ring announcer duties. Bischoff finally announced that the two weren't entertaining, prompting Rosie and Jamal to slink into the ring! The Fink shoved Lilian right into their clutches before trudging away. The two men completely destroyed Lilian, much to Bischoff's delight.
RVD def. Y2J
After taking down the referee, Jericho assaulted RVD with a steel chair. But suddenly, Ric Flair snuck up behind Y2J and nailed him with his own chair shot to the head! RVD collected himself and hit a Five-Star Frog Splash and got the pinfall to conclude an amazing match!
Eric Bischoff met Triple H in the ring where the RAW GM promised to make a surprise announcement. Bischoff said he set up a satellite feed to Shawn Michaels back in San Antonio so The Game can talk to HBK. A heavily bruised Michaels said he was doing ok for a guy that had his head bashed through a car window. HBK said he forgave Triple H for Pedigreeing him. Triple H asked if HBK saw who had carried out the attack. Michaels said he had no idea who did it, but the police sent him some surveillance footage. Michaels showed the tape, which revealed grainy images of the tape. But HBK said the tape can be enhanced. HBK showed the enhanced tape which showed Triple H standing over his in the parking lot! The Game confessed to the crime and said he did it to show HBK just how weak he is. Triple H said he wanted to protect Michaels, but HBK's ego got in the way. HBK said he would recover from his wounds sometime around...SummerSlam! Triple H said Michaels can not wrestle anymore. Michaels promised that he would show he's got plenty of fight left in him at SummerSlam!
