Just one day after WrestleMania X8 and the "Icon vs. Icon" showdown, RAW emanated live from the Molson Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada!

As the show began, Lilian Garcia told fans to welcome Hollywood Hulk Hogan. As the crowd cheered, Hogan walked to the ring. He had to wait to speak because the crowd wouldn't stop cheering for him! Hogan clearly seemed overwhelmed by the ovation.

After a few minutes, Hogan finally spoke -- "Damn, I love you guys!" he exclaimed. Hogan said that at WrestleMania, he expected a lot of things -- to have a great match with Rock and for it to go down in history as the greatest match ever, and that his nWo brothers Nash & Hall would have respected his wishes not to interfere in the match with Rock, and to walk out of the ring with his name etched in stone as the only icon of the World Wrestling Federation, and also to beat The Rock within an inch of his life. Hogan said there was one thing he didn't expect -- he didn't expect that 70,000 people would stick with him every step of the way. He said he also didn't expect 70,000 to chant "Hogan! Hogan!" -- and on cue, all the fans at the Molson Centre did just that!

Hogan said he wanted to thank everyone out there for doing so. But he said there was one more person he wanted to thank -- The Rock. Hogan said he had to admit that he came to the Federation to take out The Rock. He said that when he ran Rock down with a semi a few weeks back, he didn't think Rock would ever come back -- but he did. He didn't expect Rock to come back from last Monday's loss either, but he did. He said at WrestleMania, he had fed off the energy from 70,000 people -- and Rock had still come back, and had beaten him for the 1-2-3.

Hogan admitted that Rock had beaten him in the center of the ring, and said that since Rock was man enough to beat him in the middle of the ring, he was man enough to shake Rock's hand. But he said he wanted Rock to know that some day, Hogan and Rock would square off one more time.

Suddenly, The Rock's music hit, and out came the People's Champion! The crowd again went crazy at the sight of the two icons in the ring together. Rock said "Finally," and the arena booed a bit for the Great One! He said it again, and they booed even more! He said it a third time, and still more boos -- so he just finished the phrase anyway, this time getting a huge ovation! Rocky took off his sunglasses, stared down the Hulkster, and added that finally, Hulk Hogan had come back to the Hulkamaniacs!

Rock said everyone had congratulated him after WrestleMania, and everyone had asked him how it felt when 70,000 strong were chanting for Hogan. Rock said the same passion Hogan has and Rock has, the fans have. Rock said it was that same passion that had the fans on their feet for 30 minutes straight, and for that passion, The Rock thanked the fans and thanked Hogan. Rock said as far as Hogan's challenge, it would be an honor to face him again any time, any place.

Rock said that before he and Hogan went one-on-one, there was something Hogan had to do. Rock said Hall & Nash had turned on Hogan at Mania, but Hogan was still wearing nWo colors. Rock said concerning the nWo, Hogan should tell them how he feels as only Hogan can -- and Hogan ripped the shirt off!

After Hogan tossed the shirt into the crowd, the nWo music again filled the arena, and out came Hall and Nash. Nash said Hogan had showed them an act of defiance. Nash said that Hogan turned on them before they turned on him. Nash said they were brought in as a lethal injection into the Federation, and the plan was systematic -- pick one guy, take him out. He said the first guy was supposed to be Stone Cold Steve Austin. Hogan looked out to the crowd, and an irate Nash told Hogan to look at him instead! Nash said the plan for Austin hadn't worked, because Rock challenged Hogan for WrestleMania, and Hogan just had to say yes. Nash said they would have beaten Austin, and then Hogan could have had his match with Rock.

Nash said Hogan couldn't let his ego out of the way, and it had to be Hogan's night. Nash said he was so worried about being poison in the Federation, but Hogan was poison in the nWo. Nash called Hogan a son of a bitch, and said it was never about the people. He said they weren't brought in for the people.

Rock mocked Nash's crying a bit, and called Nash "Big Daddy Bitch." Nash said if Nash wanted to inject something, why didn't they inject The Rock and Hogan tonight!

Hall grabbed the mic from Nash, and asked Rock if he and Hogan wanted some of them tonight. Rock asked "Chico" what he had just said. Hall repeated himself, and Rock asked if Hall was stupid. Rock said, "Hey yo, chico" as the Rock chants began. Rock mocked Nash and Hall and said the match was on for tonight! He said they would inject their boots sideways into Nash and Hall's candy asses!

Hogan said it was like Rock said -- just bring it! Nash said he was curious if Hogan was ready to choke again like he did at WrestleMania. Rock asked what Nash and Hall were gonna do when Hogan and Rock teamed for the first time in history and ran wild on them!

After winning the Intercontinental Championship last night at WrestleMania, Rob Van Dam staged his first title defense against Christian, who had a cup of coffee as Hardcore Champion last night at WrestleMania. The bout started out quick, and Christian tried to keep the high-flying Van Dam grounded. But RVD battled back with his educated feet and athletic maneuvers. RVD hit Rolling Thunder for a two-count, but Christian fought back with a reverse slam. Christian went to ringside and took the Intercontinental Title and headed back towards the locker room, only to have DDP sneak up behind him and toss him back into the ring. Back in the ring, RVD hit a heel kick and the Five-Star Frog Splash to pick up the pinfall and retain his championship!

Chris Jericho arrived backstage at the arena, and he was clearly not in a good mood. As he arrived backstage, a fan told him the people of Montreal couldn't wait to see him and rub his title loss in his face. Y2J asked if the fan was from Montreal, and when the answer was yes, an enraged Jericho beat the hell out of the poor kid!

In divas action, Trish Stratus took on Lita. As Lita posed for the crowd, Trish pulled her down from the turnbuckle, and the fight was on! Trish choked Lita, but Lita suplexed her way out of it. J.R. announced during this bout that Jericho had left the arena. Lita hit a modified Litacanrana and went for the Twist of Fate, but Trish reversed and went for the Bulldog, which Lita reversed. Lita then nailed a moonsault for the win. After the bout, Jazz attacked Lita -- and Trish saved Lita! Lita and Trish double-teamed Jazz until Ivory ran down for the save! Ivory and Jazz shook hands after cleaning house.

Live from WWFE Headquarters, Linda McMahon made a major announcement. First, she thanked the fans for making WrestleMania such a success. She said she wanted to inform everyone that the board of directors has reached a decision. They decided that interaction between Vince McMahon and Ric Flair would not be good for business, so she proposed a brand extension, whereas Ric Flair would have 100 percent control of RAW, and Vince McMahon would have full control of SmackDown! She further proposed that there be a draft next week on RAW, where each will choose the exclusive superstars for their brand. She said the only two superstars whose superstars would be available to both brands would be the Undisputed Champion and the Women's Champion. Linda said the board had no choice, and that the brand extension would be a great benefit to fans.

Mr. McMahon strutted to the ring, and the topic of conversation was Linda's announcement. Vince said he had created RAW, but would no longer be on it. Vince said his sole reason for coming out tonight before the unusual French Canadian crowd was to give them a simple heartfelt goodbye. The crowd cheered, as if they wanted Vince to leave. Vince said the fans would miss him, but he wouldn't miss any of them. The fans continued to get on Vince's case, and he told them to shut up!

Instead of having Vince on RAW, he said the fans would get a consolation prize - Ric Flair. Vince said Flair lacked the qualities of a great businessman -- a killer instinct, marketing savvy and mind manipulation. The fans were all over Vince, chanting "Na na na na, hey hey, goodbye!" Vince predicted that Flair would be a miserable failure, and suddenly, out walked Ric Flair to the ring.

The fans cheered for Flair, and Vince said it was just like Canadians to cheer for a failure. Vince said Flair couldn't even stand up straight after WrestleMania. Vince said Flair was a mess thanks to the Undertaker. Vince said he wasn't the kind of man to hold a grudge, but from the bottom of his heart, he enjoyed every moment of WrestleMania and the Undertaker beating Flair from limb to limb.

The fans continued to get on Vince's case as Flair laughed at his business partner. Vince asked what Flair had to say for himself, and Ric took the microphone. The Nature Boy said that every time he was in Vince's presence, he couldn't help but be overwhelmed. He told Vince to shut up so he could speak.

Flair said Vince was right -- RAW was Vince's baby. Flair said Vince had used RAW to flaunt his wealth and to shove his miserable daughter down fans' throats week after week, and to have people kiss his ass. Flair said, no more. He said RAW wasn't about Vince -- it was about the superstars who busted their ass week after week. Flair promised that the RAW brand would never skip a beat without Vince's miserable ass every week, and the fans' chant began again!

Vince was about to leave, but instead came back and took the microphone. He said if they were to have a draft Monday, he would prove his superior mental acumen. He said he would have a superior group of superstars. He proposed they flip a coin to see who would get first pick. Ric flipped and Vince called heads -- and it was heads! Vince suggested that Ric get accustomed to what just happened. Vince said from now on, he wins, and Ric loses. Vince then punched Flair in the face and mocked Flair's strut -- and Flair punched Vince out and locked him in the figure four! Vince screamed for his life as the crowd cheered!

In tag-team action, Booker T and Kurt Angle took on Edge and Kane. The Big Red Machine dragged Booker into the ring before the opening bell even rang. Kane hit Booker with a clothesline from the top rope, and moments later, Booker nailed Kane with a boot to the face. Booker and Angle double-teamed Kane, but Kane fought back, finally getting the tag to Edge. Edge was a house afire, taking out both members of the opposing team. Edge went up top and hit Kurt with a missile dropkick for a two-count. Kane and Booker fought outside the ring. In the ring, Angle caught Edge in the ankle lock, but Kane nailed Angle with a chokeslam. Booker attacked Kane and knocked him to the outside, and those two fought on the outside. Edge went for the Edge-ecution, but Angle went for the Angle slam. Edge escaped, and Booker went to hit Edge, but instead hit Kurt! Edge speared Angle for two, and the two exchanged a number of near falls. Soon Angle collided with Kane, and Edge nailed the Olympian with the Edge-ecution for the pinfall!

Hardcore Champion Maven defended his title against his mentor, "Tough Enough" trainer Al Snow. Prior to the bout, Maven tossed a number of trashcans and hardcore weapons into the ring. Snow took Maven to school in the early going, laying in to his former pupil. Maven assaulted his former teacher with a trashcan lid until Snow took him down, and Snow then went to work, brutalizing the youngster. Snow screamed at Maven to stay down. As the two fought, Spike Dudley ran to the ring and started beating on both.

Suddenly, free agent Brock Lesnar headed for the ring -- accompanied by Paul Heyman! Lesnar tossed Al Snow through a trash can and downed Maven. Spike got on the top rope and broke a cane over Brock's head. But it didn't affect Brock at all -- Brock just picked up Spike and repeatedly powerbombed him! Heyman raised Lesnar's arm after the brutality!

Matt Hardy and Lita were kissing backstage when William Regal approached them. Regal said it was very enchanting to see two young people in love. Matt said Regal was just hot because he wasn't getting any. Regal said maybe they wouldn't be so happy after the draft; perhaps Matt would be picked by Vince and Jeff and Lita by Flair -- no more Hardys and no more Matt and Lita! Matt and Lita looked concerned after hearing that.

The Tag Team Championship was on the line as the Dudley Boyz -- accompanied by Stacy Keibler -- challenged Billy & Chuck. Bubba's eye was a mess, after being injured in the Fatal Fourway at WrestleMania. The Dudleys hit the "Wassap!" on Billy, but only scored a two-count. Stacy got on the apron and tried to distract Billy with her assets, but he wasn't interested! Stacy then came in the ring and hit Stacy across the back of the head with the Tag Team Championship! The Dudleys then hit 3-D, but the referee called for the bell on the DQ! Angry that they lost their shot at the Tag Team Championship, Bubba screamed at Stacy to never let it happen again. Stacy tried to walk out on them, but Bubba grabbed her and told D-Von to get the table! Bubba talked smack to Stacy as D-Von set up the table, and then Bubba drove Stacy right through the table!

Triple H -- who regained the Undisputed World Wrestling Federation Championship at WrestleMania -- brought the sold-out crowd at the Molson Centre to its feet as he strutted to the ring as champion for the first time in nearly two years. The Game was limping, still feeling the effects of the recent brutal attacks on his already-injured left leg. Hunter proudly held both his titles up for all to see.

As the crowd cheered for The Game, Triple H said that self-doubt could sometimes be your worst opponent. He said 10 months ago, he suffered a career-threatening injury, and during his time in rehab, he doubted whether he could come back or if he would be as good as he once was. The Game said that at WrestleMania, he defeated Chris Jericho to become the Undisputed Champion, and all of the doubts had gone away, because he had proved to everyone that he is The Game and he is that damn good!

The Game said he stood in the ring tonight a happy man, and when he was happy, he liked to spread the joy around. So he decided to show video from WrestleMania which he knew would put a smile on his face and the fans' faces -- and he showed the footage of him delivering the Pedigree to his soon-to-be ex-wife, Stephanie McMahon!

Hunter smiled from ear to ear as Stephanie walked out to the stage. The Billion-Dollar Princess was wearing a neck collar and said she was about to wipe the smile off The Game's face. She said Y2J wanted a rematch for the Undisputed Championship next Monday on RAW. The Game theorized that Jericho only wanted to play because he had seen Triple H limping. Stephanie asked if Hunter was scared. Triple H suggested it be a Handicap Match -- how about it be Jericho and another superstar against him for the title. Stephanie said that was fine with her, but who was dumber than they look now? Triple H said that the other superstar would be her!

Triple H said that if she and Jericho lost, she had to leave the World Wrestling Federation. The Game said he was sick of looking at her, and of hearing her whiny voice, and of her bitch attitude. He said he wanted her out of his life. Stephanie said it was too bad, because she refused. The crowd started the "Na na na na" chant for Stephanie, and she said surely Hunter didn't want to deprive the fans of her! She said millions of people tuned in to see her every week!

Triple H told the crowd to hold on, saying maybe Stephanie had a point. The Game asked how many people wanted Stephanie to stay, and the crowd booed. He then asked how many wanted to see her leave, and the crowd cheered! Stephanie said the people didn't know anything! Triple H said it seemed pretty simple -- the fans wanted it, and Stephanie had no choice, because if Jericho didn't take his chance next Monday, he could wait for the draft and go through all the red tape.

Stephanie said she would think about it for a second. She said she was sick of him -- and that he was on! She said next Monday, it will be a Handicap Match with her and Jericho vs. Triple H for the title, and if Hunter were to pin her, she would leave the company! She said Y2J would once again be champion and will once again leave The Game a crippled mess. The Game said he hoped Stephanie had a matching neck brace for every outfit, because she would need one after RAW.

Triple H said Stephanie would have one more chance to play The Game, but if she lost this Monday, it would be Game Over!

The main event on RAW pitted Scott Hall and Kevin Nash of the nWo against The Rock and Hollywood Hulk Hogan, who were teaming up for the first time ever. Hogan absolutely shocked the crowd by coming out to "Voodoo Child" -- his old theme music! Rock & Hogan slugged it out with Hall & Nash, showing strong teamwork together. Hollywood had no love lost for his former nWo brethren. Rock soon hit Hall with a spinebuster and went for the People's Elbow, only to be pulled out of the ring by Nash. Hall clotheslined Rock down and tagged in Nash, as the nWo isolated the People's Champion.

Rock tried to battle back, and eventually nailed Nash with the Rock Bottom! He then made his way over to the corner and finally tagged in Hogan! Hogan hit Hall with the legdrop and had the pin until Hall was pulled out of the ring by Nash. The nWo regrouped on the outside as the referee counted them out, giving Hogan and Rock the win. The Rock and Hogan held their arms in the air in victory as RAW went off the air.
