BURN IN HELL
The uncontrollable Kane set out to
burn another body once again on RAW. His victim -- Shane
McMahon. Only this time, Kane's plan went array, and it was the monster
on the receiving end of a vicious burning.
After Shane's no-contest match with
Chris Jericho, Kane and Shane battled outside of the arena. With Shane down,
Kane dumped several gas cans into a nearby dumpster. He then set the dumpster
ablaze. Luckily for Shane, he was able to muster up enough strength to kick the
Big Red Monster into the flames. As he did so, Shane told Kane to "burn in
hell!"
The match between Shane and Chris
Jericho was set up by Shane's father, Vince. In a bit of a family reunion,
Linda, Vince and Shane all ended up on Chris Jericho's Highlight Reel. Clearly,
Linda and Shane were none to pleased with Vince's
actions of late. In fact, Shane showed so much disrespect towards his father,
that Y2J took it upon himself to beat some respect into Shane. Vince demanded
that the beating stop, only to proclaim that the two would do battle later that
evening.
In the same segment, Linda made it
clear that Eric Bischoff is a liar, and that nothing happened between her and
Eric last week. It was revealed, however, that Bischoff's arrival at the
McMahon house was the handy work of Vince McMahon. Apparently, Vince invited
Eric over.
Hot off the heels of their
mega-encounter at SummerSlam, Triple H and Goldberg
announced that they would face each other one on one for the World Heavyweight
Championship at Unforgiven. Only this time, if
Goldberg cannot defeat Triple H for the title, he must retire from wrestling
altogether.
Elsewhere on RAW, Eric Bischoff
awarded Jonathan Coachman with the Employee of the Month Award, thanks to his
contributions in Bischoff's match at SummerSlam.
