- In rather tragic news, it has been learned that the wife of William Moody, known to most as Paul Bearer, has been diagnosed with breast cancer. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the entire family during this difficult time. Paul Bearer has updated his column over at WWF.com, in which he advises women to get tested early and often.

- Jim Ross is reportedly very skeptical about the current WCW/ECW angle. He feels there was not enough time to properly build the angle up, which could mean disaster in the future. Ross has also expressed is discomfort in his weekly column, The Ross Report.

- The WWF has officially opened the Summerslam website for this year. It features history from past Summerslam events, a match of the day, and a free Summerslam wallpaper advertising this year's event.

- Jonathan Coachman could fill in for Michael Cole as the new RAW commentator, alongside JR. JR would then assume his usual play-by-play position, while the Coach would be the color commentator.
