- TORONTO -- Joltin' Joe recently conducted an interview with WWF superstar, Spike Dudley. In the part one of this exclusive interview, the 150 lbs. wrestler from Dudleyville got a chance to speak on several issues which included the InVasion, ECW, Molly Holly, and more. Here's what Spike had to say:
» Spike said that although he has at the Molson Indy signing autographs, he is not really a car racing fan. However, he did say he enjoys lots of sports, which include football, basketball, and hockey.
» The runt of the Dudley litter explained to Joltin' Joe that he got injured when he hit the Dudley Dog on his brother Buh Buh Ray Dudley. This caused him to fracture his left fibula, but he said that he was fine. Spike said that he'd only be out of action for two weeks.
» Spike emphasized that his time in ECW was great. He had five years of classic ECW battles and he got all his wrestling experience from Extreme Championship Wrestling. And with this training, it was possible for him to make it into the World Wrestling Federation.
» The 5'8" federation superstar said he is happy that he's working with Molly Holly. He said that right now its going great with Molly and its fun working with her. Spike said that Molly is so special to the roster because she is not a female just about appearance. She can wrestle better than a lot of the wrestlers already on the roster, which is great.
» When asked about some of the toughest competitors Spike has ever faced, he said that there have been a lot of them. But some of them include the Dudleyz, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Tazz, Kurt Angle and even Bam Bam Bigelow!
» Spike emphasized that he enjoyed watching Beyond the Mat, the wrestling documentary by Barry Blaustein. He said that the documentary exposed some of the sacrifices you have to make when you enter the industry. This opened up the way the public views wrestling.
» When asked about why he was not in ECW, Spike said that he is not part of the company because it wasn't the company that he was in 6 months ago. Spike said that he remembers the company never being about money or power.
