At the conclusion of the last 3WCW run, Lazerus
stepped away from the sport with his future in
question. Many believed he could and should still
compete at a competitive level, yet he chose to
instead train hopefuls in their quests for wrestling
supremacy. He ran the Moonlight Bay Wrestling Academy
for the entire 30-month closure of the fed. Then, when
the 3WCW re-opened in April, he found himself
questioning his future again. Then, realizing he was a
mere World Title reign away from being another Grand
Slam Champion of the fed, he decided to return to the
place he loved so dear, the place where he got his
first break
the 3WCW.
