After that Lord Alfred dumped his manager and somewhat "suggestive" companion Doctor Death and joined with the Horsemen as Hardcore Mike Teasdale. His matches went from highly technical to ultra-volient. He quickly rose through the ranks up to the world title picture, before retiring from the ring due to extreme injuries from his new non-technical wrestling style. While back home in Somerdale, New Jersey, he began losing his hardcore edge as he was taken care of by his mother.
