Despite a few reversals, and short bursts by Zen, Nightmare still had control late in the match, thanks to Tempest's outside interference. Nightmare throws Zen off the ropes, however instead of bouncing off the ropes, Zen slides out of the ring, kicking Tempest, sending him into the guardrail. Zen then starts beating down Tempest. Nightmare was about to come outside to help Tempest, when Jose Ruiz came down from the rafters in a black trenchcoat. He lands in the ring, and pulls out a bat, pointing it at Nightmare. *Coming off his interference from last match, The Tempest was looking to make it two in a row for Dark Haven, hoping to bring home the IC Title to the fed's newest tag team. Ruiz goes crashing to the floor, and Nightmare picks him up and drags him back to the ring. Dark Haven then go to work on Ruiz, beating an already battered IC Champion. As the beating continued, El Loco Gato came running down to the ring. Dark Haven attacked him immediately, and while Gato got in some offense, the numbers game was too much, as Dark Haven took control. Once Dark Haven had the Cali Connection under control, the Tempest grabbed the mic, while Nightmare tossed the Cali Connection outside the ring. Medics tended to the fallen tag team, taking them to the backstage area*

Tempest: Listen up Maltby. This is Clash of the Champions, and as one of the 2 tag teams in the federation, we are the only one's standing. Since those titles are vacant, and Dark Haven is clearly the BEST tag team in the 3WCW, get your ass out here and give us what is rightfully ours!

("Voodoo Child" by Jimi Hendrix starts up, as the Calgary crowd goes wild! Johnny Canuck comes out on the stage with a mic in his hand)

Canuck: Now Tempest, I know you were expecting Maltby, however you just said some things that were not only stupid, but inaccurate. First of all, you are not the best tag team in this fed, let alone in that ring. Second of all, you're not the only tag team left standing.

(Canuck starts heading towards the ring in his ring attire. Dark Haven looks somewhat confused, but gets ready for battle regardless)

Schiavone: Canuck is going to take these 2 on by himself?!? He's crazy, Mark!

Madden: I dont know what the hell Canuck is thinking, Tony. Unless he knows something we dont, he's in a whole helluva lot of trouble, even if he is a Hall of Famer!

Schiavone: Mark, we've just got word from Markus Maltby backstage that this is an official Tag Team Title match!

*Canuck slides in the ring, and is attacked by Dark Haven. The ref, still somewhat confused, rings the bell.

The numbers game has clearly become too much for the Millennium Man. Just then, "Body Count's in the house" by Body Count hits the speakers. The crowd is going wild! Italian Stallion runs down the ramp, and enters the ring. Dark Haven attacks him, first Nightmare runs at the Hall of Famer, but he is met with a right hand. Tempest charges at Stallion, he too is met with a ring hand. Nightmare comes back at Stallion, but Stallion clothslines him over the ropes, sending him crashing to the floor. Tempest gets up, and he is clothslined over the top rope by Johnny Canuck. Dark Haven regroups on the outside, as they re-enter the ring, the ref regains control, by sending Stallion to the outside, leaving Canuck and Tempest to fight. Canuck and Tempest, circle the ring, trying to get a feel for eachother. Canuck charges at the WWWCW newcomer, and attacks with a flurry of left and right hands.*

(Meanwhile, backstage Markus Maltby is checking on Cali Connection, who is in the process of being taken away in an ambulance. Markus comments on how it was too bad that the Connection, couldn't be involved in the Tag Title match going on right now because they got their asses handed to them. As Markus walks away smugly, El Loco Gato looks at his partner, who is laid out on a stretcher, he then pushes past the medic, and storms back into the arena.)

*Back in the ring, Canuck tags out to Stallion, who goes to work on Tempest. Tempest, hit a low blow, and quickly took control of the match. Tempest executes a tombstone, and heads to the top rope. Taking his time, Stallion is able to regain his composure, and Stallion charges towards The Tempest, meeting him with a combo of punches, stunning the Dark Haven member. Stallion using this time, executes a Franken-Stallion. IS goes for the pin, but its interrupted by Nightmare. Canuck enters the ring, but is drop kicked by Nightmare, which sends Canuck into the ref, knocking the ref out of the ring. Nightmare blindsides Stallion, and begins to take it to IS. Tempest charges Gato, but hits Tempest with a pipe, and then nails a double armed DDT. Gato climbs to the top, and executes his Crossing the Border finisher. Gato exits though the crowd.
