WWWCW Clash of the Champions III Results

**Live from the Cajun Dome in Lafayette, Louisiana. WWWCW presents Clash of the Champions III! Tonight, it's all about the Triple Threat. 4 of the 5 matches feature the champion, and 2 challengers. For the TV Title, Chinese Hercules will battle Justin Lukas and Joe Vegas for the TV Title. Loose Justice will take on Cali Connection for the Tag Team Titles. ZEN battles Mike Teasdale and Buff Daddy Bebek for the Hardcore Title. Tempest defends his IC Title against the Cali Connection, and in tonight's Main Event, Gravedigger will put his World Title on the line against Ryan Kaige and Justin Animal. This past Nitro, Gravedigger stepped over the line and violated the Non-Contact rule that Markus Maltby had established. The punishment; Suspension. Will Markus Maltby go as far as suspending his World Champion for tonight's match?**

(Tony Schiavone and Mark Madden take their places at the ringside announce table. Pyro explodes from the stage, as COTC III is underway!)

Schiavone: Welcome fans, to Clash of the Champions III! We've got a huge card tonight, hilighted by our Main Event. Gravedigger vs. Ryan Kaige vs. Justin Animal.

Madden: But what about Gravedigger, Tony? What will Markus Maltby have to say about what Gravedigger did on Nitro? Maltby had one rule, and that was there was to be no contact between those 3 men prior to Clash. Gravedigger broke the rule, and needs to be dealt with accordingly.

Schiavone: But do you make a move as bold as suspending your World Champion for Clash of the Champions?

Madden: You have to draw the line somewhere, Tony. If Markus doesn't stand his ground, he's going to lose the respect of all the boys in the back.

("Iron Man" by Ozzy Osbourne hits the speakers, as the crowd rises to their feet. WWWCW owner Markus Maltby makes his way to the ring!)

Madden: Here it comes, Tony. Markus' official announcement regarding Gravedigger... I hope he suspends him forever!

Schiavone: Yeah, that's what he's gonna do. You're an idiot.

Madden: What?!?

(Markus Maltby enters the ring, and takes a mic out of his jacket pocket)

Maltby: This past Tuesday on Nitro, I tried to maintain order. I tried to set rules based on the well-being of 3WCW. I tried to make sure Gravedigger, Justin Animal, and Ryan Kaige kept their hands off of eachother before tonight, to ensure a match that would be enjoyable for all 3WCW fans, filled with hate and animosity. But Gravedigger decided to break that rule. Gravedigger decided he is above the rules.

(Crowd cheers)

Maltby: The fact of the matter is, Gravedigger.... You broke the rules. My rules had consequences, Digger. You think because you're the World Champ, that you can challenge my authority to enforce these consequences? Guess again, Digger. For your little stunt this past Tuesday on Nitro... Gravedigger.... For 30 days.... YOU'RE SUSPENDED!

(Crowd boos)

Schiavone: Wow Mark, Gravedigger has been suspended! What does this mean for tonight's Main Event??

Maltby: As for tonight's World Title match....

("For Whom The Bell Tolls" by Metallica hits the speakers! Gravedigger steps out from behind the curtain on to the COTC III stage. He's got a mic)

Gravedigger: Markus, I've got a lot of respect for WWWCW. This is the place where I became a star. I'm a Hall of Fame member, and I'm currently your World Champion... Last Nitro, I made a judgement call. According to your rules, it was a bad one. I may have even given you the finger...

(Crowd cheers)

Gravedigger: Regardless of what happened last week, I realize the consequences, and I accept what you've laid down. A 30 day suspension...

(Crowd boos)

Gravedigger: However Markus, I will also tell you that I will be defending my World Title tonight...

Maltby: I'm glad you've accepted your suspension Digger, but you dont seem to understand. You've been suspended for 30 days... Effective immidiately. *Cocky grin*

Gravedigger: I understand what you're saying Markus, and I realize the suspension was effective immediately. But the fact of the matter is, I will be defending my World Title tonight. You see Markus, my suspension has been lifted...

Maltby: *Shocked* Lifted?!? That's impossible... There's only one other person who can do that, and that's....

("No Chance in Hell" hits the speakers! Eric Maltby comes out on stage! Eric Maltby stands on the stage, as him and Markus stare eachother down. Markus is furious! Eric Maltby and Gravedigger head backstage, Eric with a smug look on his face. A shot of an irate Markus standing in the ring is shown)

Schiavone: Can you believe it, Mark? Eric Maltby has returned to WWWCW, and has re-instated Gravedigger!

Madden: Let's get one thing right, Tony. Eric never left. When Italian Stallion retired, Markus announced that Eric retired, but Eric never said anything about retiring. He share in WWWCW has always been the same. And tonight, he's used his stroke to keep our Main Event in tact. And one thing is for sure, Markus Maltby is not happy about it!

Schiavone: Let's get to our first match of the night. Loose Justice battles Cali Connection for the Tag Team Titles, Mark.

Madden: Tony, this is a huge match. This is one of the many PR/AE battles we shall see over the next while. This promises to be a great battle.
