WWWCW Clash of the Champions III Preview

Clash of the Champions III Preview

Two weeks ago at Anger Rising, Justin Lukas shocked the wrestling world, turning his back on Tag team partner, and friend, Chinese Hercules, to join the Anti-Establishment. On that same night, Justin Lukas captured the TV Title from Johnny Canuck, with the help of Chinese Hercules. This Saturday at Clash, Chinese Hercules will be looking for retribution. But let's not forget about the third man in this match, Joe Vegas. Joe Vegas has had an up and down career in WWWCW, which has seen him capture the Television Title, only to lose it to Justin Lukas shortly after. His brief feud with Justin Lukas has carried over in promos where the 2 men will continuously bash eachother. This Saturday Joe Vegas gets his chance to show Justin Lukas, Chinese Hercules, and the rest of WWWCW that he is a force to be reckoned with.

Project Revolution was an idea that had been mentioned weeks in advance, but it all came together at Anger Rising. Out of the ashes of Dark Haven came a new tag team: Loose Justice. The team of Judge and Nightmare have proved themselves worthy of a Tag Team Title shot, and will get their wish this Saturday. The competition, however, will be fierce. Cali Connection has been teaming together since the beginning of the 3WCW restart, and have made their presence known. They defeated the North Starrs for the Tag Titles at Clash of the Champions II, and haven't looked back since. These 4 men battled this past Tuesday on Nitro. Judge and Gato fought into the crowd in a battle that needed to be broken up by 3WCW officials, and Jose Ruiz cost Nightmare his match versus Johnny Canuck, courtesy of a barbed wire bat! The tension continues to build between these two teams. Loose Justice had a shot at these titles back at Anger Rising, but fell short. This time, however, there is no Triple Threat match. Who will emerge victorious?

Continuing in the spirit of the stable wars, Horsemen member "Hardcore" Mike Teasdale takes on Anti-Establishment member ZEN for the Hardcore Title. The Title Formerly Known As North American, was changed by ZEN upon winning it. ZEN has brought Hardcore back to 3WCW, much to the pleasure of many 3WCW superstars, including Mike Teasdale. Afterall, Hardcore is his first name. A late addition to this match is Buff Daddy Bebek. Intrigued by the Hardcore style of wrestling, Buff Daddy Bebek feels it's just not a Hardcore Match, without the man from Kamloops, BC. All three of these men feel they are Hardcore enough to walk out with the title, but at the end of the day, who will be the one standing above all the carnage with the gold?

Can you say blood bath? Tempest and Jose Ruiz have been apart of two of the most brutal matches in 3WCW history, and these matches were within 2 weeks of eachother. A barbed wire steel cage match and the now infamous Battle of the Titans match will go down in history, but this Saturday's Hell in the Cell match will be looking to set it's place in 3WCW history aswell. El Loco Gato will be looking to regain the Title he possessed for only a short few days. Jose Ruiz is the man who makes this match interesting. This match started off as a simple Tempest vs. Gato Hell in the Cell match. But recently, Tempest has invited Ruiz to join the festivities. All 3 men in this match are or were Intercontinental Champions. What will happen if Jose Ruiz and El Loco Gato cannot come to terms? Will Tempest's plan to create turmoil in the Anti-Establishment work? This Saturday we'll find out what means more to Gato and Ruiz... Friendship or Championship.

The Main Event at Clash proves to be one of the greatest ever. Never have 3WCW fans seen so much hatred. Over the last 2 weeks, Ryan Kaige has managed to get under the skin of not only Justin Animal, but Gravedigger aswell. Ryan Kaige turned heads at Anger Rising with his turn on Justin Animal, costing him the World Title. Since then, Animal has vowed revenge against his former stablemate. Kaige however, has managed to avoid Justin Animal. This Saturday, however, Justin Animal will finally get his shot at Ryan Kaige. Also on Ryan Kaige's hitlist, was Gravedigger. Kaige cost Gravedigger an important Tag Team matchup last week on Nitro, which has not escaped the mind of the King of Darkness. This past Tuesday on Nitro, both Animal and Digger were primed and ready to take care of Ryan Kaige. Markus Maltby however, insured that there would be no contact between these 3 men until Clash of the Champions III. Violation of this rule would result in suspension. And while Ryan Kaige didn't get what's coming to him on Nitro, Justin Animal was a victim of Gravedigger's wrath. Costing Animal the match, Gravedigger planted Justin Animal 6 Feet Under to end Nitro. The question now is, what is Gravedigger's status for Clash? Will Markus follow up his threat and suspend the World Champ? Hell breaks loose this Saturday!
