WWWCW Titles

Well first off I'd like to say that the new webpage looks great and I'm sure all of you would agree with me on that. I'm sure that the XCW will try to copy that in the near future, but I don't feel like bashing them right now....we all know they suck.

Apocalypse lived up to be a great PPV, not the best one ever but very entertaining. We saw the Bossman go through no one but two men to win and hold onto the 3WCW Hardcore Championship, both X-Treme and Judge were against the Bossman and if it wasn't for the use of Mr Maltby's brand new Lexas X-Treme would have won that match and retained the Hardcore title. My guess is Mr Maltby is going to get his money back for the damages done to his car.

We saw what could be the beginning of a massive fued between Rage and former partner Lord Alfred Cheesedale formerly Michael Teasedale, these two men have had a bitter falling out and are going to be at eachother's throats for the longest time. Also we saw the farewell of a former 3WCW World and IC Champion as Rocky Stonage and Rocky Maivia met in a pick-slip ladder match, both wanting to show the other that there was only room for one Rock in the 3WCW and after this match there was just that. Using Maivia's own Rock bottom to add insult to injury Rocky Stonage climbed the ladder of success to grab the peace of paper that showed Rocky Maivia the door.

After turning down a offer to join the nWo Rocky Stonage and Markus Maltby were signed to face tag Champions Venom and Lazerus, both Venom and Lazerus faced eachother to settle who the TV Champion was then had to team up against the boss and former Champion. With the bad blood between the tag Champions it made it very easy for Rocky and Markus Maltby to win the gold.

The IC title match putting the top two young stars in the 3WCW today didn't disappoint anyone in the building, both men gave it there all trying to show who really is the future of the company. With the fight spilling to the floor and into the crowd the ref was forced to throw the match out, but don't think this fued is over. I feel that a rematch might be signed for the Clash of Champions 4, the match is being rumored as a gimmick match so we could see anything from a empty arena match to a ladder match or even a Hell in the Cell match. Both men want this war settled one way or another.

A classic main event putting former best friends against eachother, Justin Animal the World Champion was out to show Ric Flair that the nWo wasn't the way to go and he did that, after Outsider interference and both men being knocked out it was Markus Maltby who placed Animal's hand over Flair's body and counted the one, two, three. Is Markus doing that to prevent the nWo from gaining any gold or does the boss have something else in his mind.

Commissioner Michaels hasn't been around as much lately due to family problems, however you can expect that the former world champion will be back on 3WCW TV soon and continue to stand behind world Champion Justin Animal. HBK is rumored to use more of his power as commish to stop the nWo's take over, will that be enough to stop them though.

The fallout from Apocalypse happened on Nitro, nothing major happened expect for Eric Maltby announcing that Ric Flair will get a world title rematch against Justin Animal May 14th at the forth Clash of Champions, speaking of the Clash expect to see Markus Maltby and Rocky Stonage defend their tag titles against the Outsiders and IC title rematch, Damon vs. Plex. Their was a surprise in the Hardcore vs. IC title match last night when a masked man attacked Vic Damon with a baseball bat. As of right now there is no idea of who that could be, but wearing IC gold makes anyone a target.

Now as it's time for my top ten wrestlers for the week in the 3WCW.

10. Mike Awesome - (n/a) Good showing at the PPV, good things to come.

9. Rage - (6) Had a tough weekend but look for him to rebound.

8. Jon Plex - (7) Failed to bring home IC gold, still in the hunt.

7. Ric Flair - (3) Big loss to the Champ, can he come back from that?

6. Markus Maltby - (n/a) I know not a wrestler, but has some gold.

5. Lazerus - (n/a) TV Champion and has the belt to show it.

4. Bossman - (n/a) New Hardcore Champion, beat 2 men for it.

3. Rocky Stonage - (5) Only Rock now, Tag Champion with the boss.

2. Vic Damon - (2) Defended against three top stars in 5 days.

1. Justin Animal - (1) Still the man, can anyone pull him down.

This week I have very special guest, current 3WCW world Champion Justin Animal.

Mike: Justin thanks for joining me this week on Between the ropes, now recently you've been having problems with your former best friend Ric Flair, you just had a match with him and your signed to face him again at the Clash, any thoughts on this??

JA: Well Mike, it sucks to see a relationship like the one Ric and I had go down the tubes over something like the World title. I have it, he wants it, and the friendship died because of it. As for the Clash, I showed Ric at Apocalypse that I can kick his ass, you can expect the same at Clash 4.

Mike: In your match against Flair last weekend it was Markus Maltby that gave you the win when he counted the pinfall, have there been any talks between you two about the match and can you trust him??

JA: I trust Maltby about as far as I can throw him... Well I can throw the little bastard a long way so maybe that isn't the best analogy. There have been no talks between us since I left the Corporation, at least no talks of a civil manner. If you're asking me am I going corporate I can only reply there's no chance in hell that I'd stand with any Maltby ever again. I think the reason he counted the three was to screw his son and the nWo.

Mike: Now being the world Champion, you've done it all. You faced all comers and you came out on top. What else is there for you too do??

JA: Retire. I'm one of only two Grand Slam Champions and I have nothing but pride in that statement. I've achieved everything I dreamed of plus some. I think Justin Animal may have to step down some time down this road. I sure as hell ain't gonna be one of those guys who hangs around trying to recapture the glory days... you know the type I mean right Ric Flair.

Mike: Now is there anyone in the 3WCW that you feel can take over the lead, be the next World Champion, the man, the target?

JA: I think the talent pool is loaded with guys who are IC caliber but very few are ready to enter the world title picture. Mike Teasedale and Rage are going to be elevated by their current fued and both will be top contenders for my belt very soon. Vic Damon his a tough bastard who I wouldn't mind fueding with and seeing how there is no love lost between us, that isn't entirely out of the question

Mike: Last year your Animal Driver was named finishing move of the year, who else do you say has the big finishing move??

JA: I've always been a fan of two moves. One is no longer with us and another is powerful but not really innovative like the Animal Driver. The Canadian Death Lock was a cool move and it was a bitch to break. I love the power behind Kevin Nash's powerbomb but I don't see it taking home any awards. Oh and lets not forget Sweet Cheese Music!

Mike: In a few words tell me your thoughts about the following people.

Markus Maltby?

JA: Corrupt asshole, you can't trust him at all because the second your back is turned, the dagger is on its way

Ric Flair?

JA: Ric is a head case, his time has passed but he's so power hungary that he hangs on by a thread, watching his dignity float away.

Eric Maltby?

JA: Same as his old man, there's no debate about who this kids father is, although I did here the mailman used to stay at his house for hours when only his mother was home... I dunno

Rocky Stonage?

JA: 100% pure talent, pound for pound one of the top 3 guys in the company, but that doesn't mean he's gonna hold this belt anytime soon

Commish Michaels?

JA: Its funny, I used to hate Shawn but I've grown to respect him. He looks out for the good of the business and nothing more

Jon Plex?

JA: Hasn't shown me much. He has talent but no ability to lead. His friggin stable crashed quicker than the Challenger.

Justin Animal?

JA: Not just the baddest, not just the Champ, Justin Animal!

Mike: Well I'd like to thank you Justin for joining me on Between the ropes this week, I'm hopping we can do this again in the future?

JA: Its been my pleasure Mike, the column is great and I wish you luck with it.

Well I'd like to thank Justin Animal for being with us this week and I'm like to also thank both the Maltby's for allowing me to put this show on for you. Until next week keep it real.
