All files in zipped format. You will need WinZip or some other un-zipping software to get the individual files.
The file name format is YYMMDD_HH (with an additional "z" at the end for satellite images). Hour format is in Zulu time, as usual. 500mb maps are usually given twice per day, once at 0Z and once at 12Z. Satellite imagery is given usually four times per day, at 0Z, 6Z, 12Z, and 18Z. Occasionally there will be problems and they will be given at 3Z, 9Z, 15Z, or 21Z rather than the time slots previously stated.
