As we celebrate our FOURTH full year together as Dudley/Webster's "Solid Gold in Stereo Station", we'd be remiss if we did not take the time to thank YOU, our valued listeners, for joining us in preserving this great Rock & Roll music for future generations to enjoy. WXRB-FM is very proud to serve the Greater Dudley/Webster area and to our many friends in Northern Connecticut, as well. We couldn't have done it without YOU! As you probably notice, we NEVER run commercials (and NEVER will). As a "non-commercial educational FM Stereo station", we have to go the extra mile to entertain, inform and educate our listeners about the music and spoken word programming we bring to you. While we strive to bring you the greatest music in the world, we always will remember that our main purpose is NOT just to entertain, but to ALSO stimulate and inform our listeners. That's the way we are and THAT'S the way we're going to stay. Your letters, e-mails and phone calls are truly appreciated. We will always be mindful about our listeners and ALWAYS listen to your comments and questions about our station, about oldies music and pretty anything dealing with radio in general. In the coming months, we'll adding even MORE of the music you love best (50's, 60's and 70's Rock & Roll), some special spoken word programming to spice up the mix including Sunday night old-time radio... not to mention our favorite Sunday late night tradition of Jean Shepherd as well. And of course, play-by-play action of Nichols College sports programming, produced AND directed by actual Nichols students. This station is a living, breathing laboratory, full of ideas not only from the station crew, but also from the listener as well. From time to time, we'll adding a few "pearls of wisdom" to this page, as well as some of your comments and questions about WXRB-FM, about oldies music and the broadcasting industry in general. This station is truly a labor of love. We'll always do what we can to bring you BEST music in the WORLD, OLDIES music, commercial-free and in FULL STEREO!
