95.1/WXRB The music you hear on "The Golden 95.1!" is special, very special indeed! While most other mass-appeal "oldies" stations play the same 300+ post-Beatle invasion, time tested tunes, over and over again (with an ever increasing amount of commercials), 95.1 plays those tunes.... AND SO MUCH MORE, minus ANY of the commercial clutter! (We are a COMPLETELY non-commercial/educational FM/Stereo station!) The 1950's are NOT forgotten here. We'd like to think that we have one of the most liberal playlists of any Oldies station in North America. Sure, we will play "The Beatles", "Earth, Wind and Fire" and "The Doobies". BUT, we'll also bring you such great artists like Frank Sinatra, Bobby Darin, the "doo-wop" artists of the 1950's and early 1960's and many, many more.
