Who do you turn to when you're drowning?
Who is the saviour when you're alone?
When shadows surround and there is no light,
Who? Who protects you in that place?
The weight drags down, pulling, tugging
Cries are swallowed before they reach ears

Eyes open, terrified as they see your life now
Recognizing it as it slips from their fingers
The abyss reaching up and encompassing
No more choices, the wish is granted
But the forfeit is life

Who will fight for your life?
Who will champion you, ever?
Now you must learn alone.
