1.  This is a White Wolf's World of Darkness role playing room, centered on Werewolf:  The Apocalypse.  All White Wolf World of Darkness Characters are welcome here, as both visitors and members, but be forewarned:  enemies of the Garou, such as the Black Spiral Dancers, will be treated as such.  Vampires with Humanity or Path of the Feral Heart ratings of below 7 are considered "tainted by the Wyrm" and will be treated as enemies as well.  All interaction is considered In Character (IC).  If you are speaking Out of Character (OOC), please mark the comment by inserting OOC in the post, or the comment between double parenthesis like so:  ((this is an OOC marker)).  For extended OOC conversations, when Role Playing is happening in the room, please take it to PM, so as not to disrupt the role play.

2.  The room is not a room at all, but the city of Memphis, Tennessee and its surrounding areas in Shelby County.  Please use the appropriate pulldowns while in the room.  As a werewolf room, open Rites, combat, rituals, ceremonies, etc. and cyber sex may be occurring.  The caern, not open to anyone but Garou and some Kinfolk, is a sacred place.  If such things offend you, you can use the ignore button, or request that the participants take the cyber sex (as this is generally a private thing anyway) to PM.  Normal werewolf acts are expected to be conducted in the open, except for when in the presence of unknown mortals.  The Veil (similar to Vampire's Masquerade) is indeed enforced here as this is a Garou room.  Any creature or being entering should be aware of this, and act accordingly, unless the mortals present are "educated" about Garou, subsequently Kinfolk.  If unsure, the Veil should be followed to the letter.

3.  Permission should be asked before PMing (private messaging) anyone.  This is NOT a right, but a privilege given to the person wishing it by the person you wish to PM.  If you do not get permission, and you continue to PM after being asked to stop, you can and will be booted.

4.  White Wolf Gifts, Disciplines, Edges, Spheres, Spells, Glamours, etc. and rules apply here, although the room does contain some freeform elements.  Multiple White Wolf systems are recognized here, such as Werewolf, Vampire, Mage, etc.  Some Freeform is allowed here, except for in cases where the character starts exhibiting "godmoder" attitudes.  Character sheets for ALL members are mandatory, and if a non-member wishes to fight here, a character sheet for them is required as well.  Therefore, NO made up material will be accepted.  NO EXCEPTIONS.  If they just wish to role play here without incident, the character sheet isn't necessary.  The moment combat becomes an issue, it is necessary.  Role play is for fun, and combat and further instances are a reflection of this.  If we cannot role play without OOC bickering over who has what ability, the role play is null and void, and it would be best if the non-member dropped the subject, or left, as the choice is then theirs.  NO invincible characters will be allowed.

5.  This room is a KILL/CAPTURE ZONE.  Death can and does occur here, as do kidnappings, and so forth, as long as normal conventions of role play are taken into consideration and followed.  NO ONE POST KILLS, unless for some reason the character publicly accepts their death.  Follow the Call of the Wyld Combat rules posted on the Call of the Wyld Website linked at the front door.

6.  In sparring or battle the house Combat rules will apply.  These are found Combat Rules page on the Call of the Wyld website, linked at the front door.

7.  No God like characters will be recognized.  PERIOD.

8.  All mortals are safe here if they respect the rules of the Protectorate and those in it.

9.  Feeding by vampires can take place with permission of the subject only, with the exception of Garou Kinfolk or mates, as well as open cybering is allowed, unless requested by room occupants to take it private.  Feeding on those close to Garou can be very very dangerous for vampires, as revenge will be exacted.

10.  Display the respect to all others within the Protectorate as you would expect them to respect you.  This is basically the Golden Rule, so honor it as such.

11.  Any disruption of the room, the role play, and further acts of just plain ignorance will be met with a moderator.  Booting is done at room owner's discretion as he does own the room.  Please conduct yourself as an adult, as this is after all an adult site.  If you cannot, you will be booted, and banned if necessary.  Any person or persons disrupting the peace will be removed.

12.  Any entering with names indicating they are a threat to werewolves, wolves, or Kinfolk will be met with hostility.  This includes, but is not limited to Slayers, Hunters, Pentex employes, Endron Oil, Inc., DNA, and so on.

13.  No vampires, mages, strange mortals, Hunters, etc. are allowed within the area of the caern, outside the city.  This is for the protection of our ways and our safety.  Any attempted intrusion will be met with severe hostility.  Only sept members, visiting Garou, Kinfolk (human and wolf), and mates are allowed within.

14.  Anyone wishing to become a member of the Protectorate, either as Kinfolk, mate, city dweller, etc must submit a character sheet.  We may not require rolling (though in certain circumstances, or during Storyteller led role plays we will), but it controls the level of the characters, reducing the possibility of god moders.

15.  Mortals who view a Garou in Crinos form (the big, 9+ foot tall war form) must suffer the Delirium, a debilitating all encompassing fear, and their actions are determined according to their Willpower rating.  (Someone in the room will have the chart).  The only humans immune to this effect are Garou's human Kinfolk and Catholic Church sanctioned Hunters, those that are Imbued.

16.  The Litany will be enforced as completely as possible by Gaia's Chosen, the Garou.  The Veil is maintained here.  If you are a vampire member, and your sect (i.e. the Camarilla) supports the Masquerade, you must follow it as well.

17.  Feeding on or Embracing Garou Kinfolk by vampires IS NOT ALLOWED.  Any such attempt will result in combat and most likely death (will be role played out).

18.  AVs are to be no taller than 350 pixels high.

19.  No java codes, displaying of IP numbers, displays of personal info, etc. etc.  We are here to have fun lets keep it that way.
