~The Rose~
I used to believe in fairytales And wish upon a star But all that's left is the memories Of a love I left afar How it all went wrong, I'll never know To this day I still ask why Our love was once a bright red rose Which slowly began to wilt and die For nights on end the tears did flow But soon those faded too And the rose petals of a love gone by Drifted away as life's winds blew Now the years have passed and times gone by And yet I sit and wonder What ever became of that bright red rose Whose spell I was once under

If love is but a peircing sword, then by me strike hard and true For doubt not that my final breathe, will echo my love for you.

~The Storm~
The wind starts to howl and the clouds begin to grow the lightning flashes in my mind and in the thunder screams my soul I once longed for the sunlight to heal and transform Only to suddenly realize my only comfort is in the storm The rains I once thought drowned me brought me courage and strength to fight the whirlwind that surrounded me caressed me with delight So rage on my powerful beauty for it you that has transformed me My peace lies in the eye of the storm and it's passion sets me free
