~Long Ago~
Long ago, and once upon a time I looked to the skies and found you As you danced through the clouds in my mind Filling the moonlight with the brilliance of your smile And erasing the darkness with the sparkle of your eyes Your arms stretched through the heavens and found me And in a blanket of stars you held me tight Wrapped firm in the warmth of your embrace Promising to keep me till morning light We waltzed to the song of crickets As they played their love's serenade Feeling the tenderness of your touch In the wind as it gently carressed my face Hand in hand we strolled through the fields Of lovers dreams and couples desires And with a subtle glance, you stole a kiss That ignited an eternal fire As a glimmer of light kissed the sky I turned to find that you were gone I wiped the dream that settled from my eyes And reluctantly welcomed the dawn In the back of my mind a memory remained Clouded in a mist of first morning's dew Of a time long ago, and once upon a time When I looked to the skies and found you.

Searching Souls Their eyes meet,Slowly lips touch Tranquil waters become an ocean of desire Each touch ingnites a raging fire Bodies tangle in a dance of ecstacy In each others arms for an instant the world is still Two bodies bound for eternity as worlds collide Cries of passion drown out the night Their search is over

~ Life's Little Rains~
Two lovers torn apart...by unimaginable frustration The skies darken as the storm clouds begin to roll Not hearing the desperation...In one anothers words Never heading the warning as the winds begin to blow
Intending to stand their ground...with such determination They are deaf to the echoing thunder as angels sigh Words of anger are like daggers...striking their mark so true Lightning burning up the blackness as it bleeds across the sky
The lovers feelings are battered...and their souls are oh so bruised Their screams are all but buried as the storms fury flies In bitter defeat they cease fire...the anger born of such passion As the world pauses and heaven shamelessly cries |

In their eyes an ember burns....oh so bright Their tears wash away the stains of distrust The lovers without the other...filled with sorrow and despair A life apart is a sentence...to both seems to unjust
Clinging tight to reborn desire...the weary lovers embrace The clouds part and anger's storm wanes All their wounds are healed ...and in love they stand complete Again blessed by one of life's little rains
Hold tight to Love...for if not watered with care It can slowly wither and die It's a gift from God... to be handled with care For who are we to make the heavens weep and angels sigh.
