Under 18's Wyndham Chargers Under 18’s vs Altona Roosters Lost 18-38 Could not fault the commitment and dedication to the job at hand and. We had Altona 18-20 with only 15 minutes to go and we lost our way. With the momentum swinging our way we justfailed to apply the pressure that was needed to win the game, instead we made some wrong decisions that allowed Altona to get back on top and finish stronger. All this comes with experience and the ability to control a game when it hangs in the balance. A learning lesson for all of us that will auger well for when we face them again next time. The self-belief and commitment is there we just need to tidy up our execution and perhaps match fitness and we will be a much-feared unit in this competition, NO DOUBT.In a strong middle half of the game good performers for the Chargers were Luke Craig, Big Dan, Dashwood, Brenton, Konrad off the interchange and Putty as usual.Once again all players need to realise when games are in the balance and they’re to be won. Someone or Someone’s need to stand up and take the game by the scruff and lead the team. They call such players Match winners we need to find one. 1 Point – Anthony Dashwood 2 Points- Dan Toevai 3 Points- Luke Craig Good effort guys getting better each week Match report by Will |
