The Family Behind Wynmar

The Martin Family reside and work in the North Orange County area of Southern California. We have been with Labradors for more than 12 years now, and have never looked back.

Now for a little about the family the dogs allow to spend time with them. Susan has taught school for the past 22 years. And yes, teaching puppies and small children is very rewarding. After school hours are devoted to dog activies,i.e., showing in conformation, obedience, and hopefully soon....agility. Our dogs are also put through Working Certificate and Junior Hunting titles, to maintain that the working ability of our dogs stays strong.

And Wayne is the head of sanitation and pest control around the house. He has worked for a pest control company for approximately 10 years. No fleas here. He is also head chef for the dogs. Dinner is ALWAYS served at 4:00 sharp, A.M. and P.M. And they don't let him forget. He is also very supportive in all dog ventures, packing the van for shows, helping with an extra hand at breeding and whelping time, and opening the checkbook for that one extra piece of dog paraphenalia. He is worth his weight in....ummm, let me see.

Then there is our 15 year old daughter. She has always been the dog's first human sibling to play with. She is great at helping to socialize puppies, help with feeding, and dog walks. I had hoped she would go into the Veterinary profession, to help out on our dog bills, but now we think she has other ideas. There is always a happy Labrador sleeping by her side.
