The Wynnum Manly District Cricket Club held it's annual presentation evening in conjunction with its better late than never 40th Year Anniversary Celebration at the club on Saturday 23rd March 2002.

Players of past and present mixed to tell many tales over a few ales and some truths were noticeably stretched so as not to stand in the way of a good story.

Meals were organised by Queensland Cricket and Ray Phillips was guest speaker.

The much coveted Alun Patullo Memorial Player of the Year Award went to Peter Gallagher who won a trip to Hamilton Island donated by Mal Day of Travelworld - Holiday Magic.
