titles that I enjoyed watching

Air tv

Somewhere in the sky there is a girl with wings who is waiting for someone for a long long time... Yukito travels around in search of this girl. He eventually arrives at a town where he meets some Misuzu who has no friends, quiet Minagi, outgoing Michiru. This comes from the same production company that produced Kanon. So one can assume that there's more to the story than what meets the eye.

Bleach

Almost everyone is into this particular anime. =P Ichigo Kurasaki has always been able to see ghosts, though one day he ends up meeting a shinigami. He's life changes drastically after meeting with the Shinigami. Original story & artwork by Kubo Taite, the manga is actually a whole lot better than the anime. You've just got to check out this title... =) Produced in 2004 and with ?? episodes in total.

Escaflowne: Girl in Gaea

A real feast for the senses what with music composition and arrangement by Yokko Kanno, performed by the Warsaw Philharmonic Orchestra, plus the characters were designed by Nobuteru Yuuki. The soundtrack for this movie is one of my favotites too. The story is a little different from the series but it's still very good. I actually like the movie more than the series.

Gankutsuou

Based on Alexandre Dumas novel "The Count of Monte Cristo." The Count had his life, love & freedom taken from him years ago, betrayed by those whom he thought of as friend and falsely accused of a crime he didn't commit. Several years later he returns to seek revenge in the guise of a noble entitled the Count of Monte Cristo. I have to say the artwork for this anime took some time to get used to, but once you do it's breathtaking with a pretty kaleidoscope of colors in art deco style. The plot is superb... the Count is both lovable & hateful, the perfect villain... Produced in 2004 by GONZO DIGIMATION with total of 24 episodes.

Gundam SEED Destiny

If you're a Gundam SEED fan you'll definitely want to watch this one as it tells what happens after the Yakin Due battle. The story takes place 1 year after Gundam SEED, though this time the main characters are coordinators, mainly crew members of the newest ship model Minerva, the pilot for the new gundam "Impulse" Shin Asuka, Zaks pilots Lunamaria Hawke and Ray za Barrue, Captain Thalia Gladys & Chairman Gilbert Dulandal. The old characters also appear as supporting characters...

Harukanaru Toki no Naka de

Translated, the title means "In a Distant Time." The story in somewhat similar to Fushigi Yuugi, a young girl gets pulled into another world... which is like ancient Japan. There's she becomes a miko and has 8 protectors... Produced in 2004 and with ?? episodes in total.

Heat Guy J

This anime sort of reminds me of Cowboy Bebop, it's a cool anime. The main character Daisuke Aurora is somewhat similar to Spike (execpt that Daisuke's short while Spike is tall ^^). Characters were designed by Nobuteru Yuuki, same person who did The Vision of Escaflowne. The story is somewhat similar to Wolf's Rain too, in the sense that there's a higher existence that provides technology for the human race. The opening theme song is very nice too... Produced in 2002 and with 26 episodes in total.

Kyou Kara Maou

This is a very hilarious anime, it'll have you laughing out loud. Though if you can't take slapstick jokes it would be better to avoid this one cause it's full of it. =) This is an anime that's filled with bishounen and hints at yaoi fun. ^___^

Samurai 7

Futuristic Samurai action, that's what Samurai 7's all about. It is the age where bandits have control of most villages and demands a lot of payment - rice from them. In one village the oppressed farmers decide to hire some samurai to beat the bandits and make them leave. So their Miko, who can sense things using her pendant, along w/ 2 companions sets out to look for the samurais... Produced in 2004 and with 26 episodes in total.

Samurai Champloo

Very retro & cool samurai action, it's got some of the best sound themes out there. Produced in 2004 and with 26 episodes in total. Set in the Meiji Era of Japan, Fuu, Jin & Mugen encounters each other at a Tea House where Fuu works. Mugen is a very corse individual w/ his own style of fighting w/c is based more on instincts than actual samurai techniques, while Jin is very polite and fights ina very disciplined manner that he learned from the samurai dojo. Together these three set out to find the Himawari no Samurai... along the way they ecounter many dangers & fun... Produced in 2004? by Gonzo w/ a total of 26 episodes.

Soukyuu no Fafner

If you enjoyed watching RahXephon & Evangelion, you'll definitely like this one too... the story is somewhat similar yet different. The graphics is awesome, it's by Xebec same company that made Uchuu no Stellvia. The character design is the same as with Gundam Seed, Scryed & Infinte Ryvius. Produced in 2004 and with 26 episodes in total.

Spirited Away

Also known as "Kamikakushi Sento no Chihiro." Chihiro & her parents accidentlly stumbled into an enchanted world ruled by an evil witch... she meets a mysterious boy there who warns her to leave the place at once... she encounters strange beings that were Gods and is forced to work in a bath house that serves them. This is my favorite out of all of Hayao Miyazaki's films, I just love fantasy adventure w/ a hint of romance films, I never get tired of watching this movie. =) The soundtrack is also worth getting, all the bgms were composed by Joe Hisashi.

Witch Hunter Robin

Robin hunts down witches along with others who work for an organization called STNJ... though she herself practices the craft. This series is serious and dark, it's very interesting to watch how the characters develop along with the interesting twist to the plot. The OP theme song & video, Shell, is just so COOL. Produced in ?? and with 26 episodes in total.

Forgive me if the intro/comments for the series aren't written well... I'm not used to writing such things. =P I'll add some more wen I find te time to type them up...
