"The Grizzly is a natural creature living in the country that humans use for vacation and relaxation. With the assistance of proper education and awareness in the field, it is possible for us to co-exist with the bear. The Grizzly adds a primitive presence to our country, his dominance and mystic in his country adds to the excitement the back country brings outdoor enthusiasts. I cannot fathom a back country that I cannot ride freely through, just as I dread the idea of the back country where grizzlies do not freely roam. It is my responsibility and your responsibility to ensure this for our future generations. The grizzly is symbolic of everything that once was, and a firm figure in the notion that you cannot tame the high country." Jim Heath, Hunter's Safety Coordinator
