The Inspiration Personified Series - Part Two

Inspiration is the embodiment of our own human endeavors. Her individual parts contribute their own unique function to Her greater whole. She has legs to walk among us and dance about us; arms to show us balance and reach for us. Her hands carry gifts and offer guidance; Her fingers touch us lovingly and grip us tightly. Her neck reaches toward the sky, allowing Her free-roaming, unfettered and limitless sight. With Her mouth, She can speak to us, call to us or sing to us; often She will join in our songs of celebration. Her nose always provides focus on what is before Her, but never blinds Her from seeking new enlightenment or adventure. Her hair flows wildly in the wind behind Her, lending us shifting visions, as bloated clouds do on breezy days. She uses Her ears to listen to the world and the universe, understanding the symbiosis of all things. And Her torso gives unique form, anchoring Her individual functions into a chorus of activity. She knows the beauty of our lives is not only seen or touched, but heard, tasted, smelled and "felt." We must learn to never hinder any of Her purposeful parts, because like us, Inspiration only succeeds when She is left free to explore, discover and share in Her own ways.
