WyrdWyrld.Org is a non-profit organization created to provide varying levels of service to an entire community of people.  The community will consist of those wishing to discover the joys of life, find new adventures, share their global excursions or sow the seeds of their quiet creativity.

The first phase of this community will be the website launch, a stepping-stone to the full-fledged experience that awaits.  The WyrdWyrld online community will be semi-moderated, only to prevent disruptions and diservice, rather than control content.

Future phases of the WyrdWyrld experience will be to provide organized community activities and travel opportunities in various locations around the world.  It will be a truly global experience someday, so we're all hoping that every member will participate regularly and have an interest to grow the community.

So, watch for the official launch of WyrdWyrld.Org.  There will be a mailing list on this page soon, so you will be notified as the launch nears.

And for those interested in being a part of this community from the design, implementation, administration or moderation stand-point, send me an email and I will get back to you with details.

In the meanwhile, brush up on your prose, dust off your backpack and scan those vacation photos.  It's a Wyrd Wyrld out there - no sense in exploring it alone!

WyrdWyrld.Com is a (hopefully) profitable business venture, but it shares the same idea as WyrdWyrld.Org... to provide support, share knowledge and grow dynamically with the market it serves.

The WyrdWyrld.Com market is Information Technology, and the knowledge and support provided will help small and medium sized businesses find reasonable solutions to their technology problems.

The explosion of computer and internet technology has created a rift between the knowledge and power afforded by large corporations, and that afforded by "start-ups" and "mom-and-pop" companies.  Although PC networking and the internet is available to nearly everyone with a computer, the knowledge to properly leverage those tools for efficient business solutions is sorely lost in the media hype of what is now a "home-user" era.

The fact is, the knowledge required to utilize a PC in the average home now is severely lacking in the technical skills and know-how of running business applications and providing a dynamic environment to grow the technology parallel with the company.

WyrdWyrld.Com will resolve those issues, with hands-on consulting, training and equipment purchasing, customized for each business, based on requirements, expectations and budgets.  And these services will be provided by professionals who are constantly seeking new technology and new methods of utilizing existing tools.

And like our friends at WyrdWyrld.Org like to say:  "It's a WyrdWyrld out there (especially in technology!) - no sense in exploring it alone!"
