We believe that anyone can make a difference whether it's preventing a fight, helping with schoolwork, or just making someone feel better. The PAL class offers Serrano students tutoring, peer assistance, and opportunities for social interaction. We are here to help because we care. This group of students has been chosen for their various abilities,including academic excellence, friendly personalities and willingness to help others.
     The PAL class consists of 30 students who are willing to dedicate and sacrifice their time and lunches for students who are in need. PAL replaces the students' elective, so some have zero period to receive another elective. The PAL class is chosen by being carefully observed by the former year's PAL students, being interviewed by previous PALS and their advisor.These students are chosen carefully because the former PAL students know how much dedication one has to put into whatever he/she does.
