About Me Who am I, you're probably wondering. I'm an anarcho-syndicalist, in his early 20's, from Joliet, IL. I'm a college dropout who's thinking of going back to pursue a degree in computer networking. I'm a full time wage slave as well... full time, and poverty line, baby! I'm a computer geek, obsessed with Open Source software, Linux, and wireless networking. I'm writing this book, because all I do at work is think about shit. Due to health problems in my family, I can't really do too much active organizing right now, so I decided to write this book. It's basically a collection of my thoughts on anarchism, and how we can make it relate to regular people as a means of making our movement grow. As hypocritical as it may sound given that I just admitted I don't really do any organizing right now, I'm tired of endless conversations on how and where to organize, without anyone actually putting these ideas into practice. Also, since I can't leave the house too much, I've begun another project in my free time. I'm building and repairing old computers, to send to anarchists and anti-authoritarians who need one. I'm working on two right now, and could really use some donations. I'll be making them availible for free when I have a couple more finished, all you'd have to do is pay shipping. I'll post more details about that later, but if you have any old computers, parts, or equipment laying around that you don't use, and would like to see go to helping your comrades in need, email me and think about making a donation. That's all for now, I'll post more when I have more time. |
