Murray is the proud recipient of 31 Juno Awards, 4 Grammy's, 3 American Music Awards, 3 Country-Music Awards and 3 Canadian Country-Music Association Awards. Murray has also been honoured with the Canadian East Coast Music Association Directors' Special Achievement Award in 2001, and an induction into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame in 2002 and Juno Hall of Fame in 1993.
