| His career began more than thirty years ago when by chance, he met Joni Mitchell in a bar and she offered to write lyrics for one of his songs. Neil Young then moved from Winnipeg to Toronto in 1966 where he would eventually meet the rest of his band mates. When the band split up, it gave Young the opportunity to release his first solo album that went platinum. Throughout his career, Neil Young has had many band members come and go, however, he has continued to produce music that is appreciated by audiences all over Canada.
