The band Our Lady Peace was formed in Toronto, 1992;
all four band members were Toronto locals . After recording many demos and trying to get signed by a record label, in 1994, Sony Music Canada showed interest and from there, the career of the band took off. A year after signing, the band released "Clumsy" which sold over two million copies. In total, Or Lady Peace has made four albums, each one with their own unique success in Canada as well as internationally. In 1998, Our Lady Peace was awarded two Juno's for their success. Our Lady Peace is a huge supporter of Canadian up-and-coming musical talent and backed by their own success, they continue to inspire, promote and creat music for all of Canada to enjoy. |
