NHL 2002 Review (8.5/10) - By Le_Roux
- Graphics
(9/10)
- The
graphics of this game are pretty impressive, if you already played NHL 2002
on PS2, you'll see it's about the same thing, maybe a little better. But
personally, I think they are very nice.
- Controls
(8.5/10)
-
They are pretty good but sometimes, I'd like to have more options, cause
when I play with line changes: manual, I have to take something away (twist,
dump the puck, block shots)
- Sound
(8.5/10)
- You can't
say that the sounds are very bad but when you play a lot, the play by play
gets a lot repetitive. They always say the same things so it becomes a little
boring. Also, I don't know why they didn't add the option of playing your
own music. Why not use the advantages of the X-Box?
- Gameplay (7.5/10)
- The game is great for people who
didn't play a lot to the other games of this serie. EA sports are missing
ideas or they don't want to put more different stuff in it. The new option
in the Create-A-Player that let you build faces is a good idea thought.
- Overall (8.5/10)
- If you like hockey, this game
is really for you. You'll play a lot and you'll have fun with your friends.
