The
Throne of Sonoma
By Lord Lothar The Patron Saint |
In view of recent events,
regarding the disappearance of our Lord British, and the ascension of these
new 'usurpers', my men and colleagues ask me my thoughts on this situation.
Trammel is an interesting land for conquest. It is made up of thousands
of associations, towns, guilds, and even more citizens. For the most part
benevolent, peacful folk out to carve out a prosperous life without interfering
in the affairs of men or the conquest of Fellucca. These peaceful, un-affiliated
folks make up a bulk in Trammel, and when all this nonsense began, we,
the majority were ignored by the self-ordained rulers and their elitist
followers.
But while most dismiss these coronations as publicity stunts - I warn you, my virtuous brethren, to take caution. I have given much thought especially regarding this Lich ruler. For it makes no sense, brothers and sisters, for a creature of such malice, to want to rule a land where he has no freedom to slay and conquer. He cannot enforce borders here, there are no sigils to win in our towns, and he cannot even hurt or kill the living in this land. So why would he want to rule it? The answer is apparent when we do not consider Trammel as a land mass. Trammel is a population. So this Lich promises the moon, even sponsors events and such, but why? Because we visit his temples here. Because we see his power, his sheer will and arrogance in trying to take the place of our rightful ruler. Put simply, Lich is here for followers. But how do we peaceful citizens of Trammel stem the tide of this Lich? Simple. The battle is fought and won in your hearts friends. Live by the virtues, and study the deeds of our Avatar. Ignore the staged events of conquest lead by this Lich in Trammel. Assist your brethren in Fellucca however you may, to show the Lich he cannot possess the people of Trammel. And as far as the other usurpers? Put simply - follow those who are true to the virtues. I have yet to see these men in prayer in our chamber of virtues, or praying in our shrines. They do not honor the Avatar nor Lord British. Let them coronate all they want brethren, but let them not into your hearts. |
