Unnoticed(poem)
In the shadows I stay,
Unnoticed, but not alone
Always aware of the world around me,
But the world is unaware of me.
You think I don't see you,
You think i don't care.

A Girl Named Sam(balad)
Sam is a very quiet girl.
She always has been,
And probably always will be.

Everyone, including her kin
Always ask her
“Why don’t you talk more?”
And she doesn’t let that deter.

But sometimes it does though,
And alone, she asks
“Why can’t I talk more?”

Her pain she masks,
With a smirk, and “I’m fine”,
“How are you?”

Sam is very sweet and very kind,
But inside, it’s bleak.
The pain she holds on her back,
Is making her weak.

Self confidence is what she lacks
To herself she wonders,
“Why can’t I be pretty?”
“Why do my parents think me younger,
Rather than older?”

“Should I even continue?”
Inside she aches,
But she dare not show it
The pain, she so hates.

She doesn’t search for help,
She goes straight for the blade,
To end her suffering.
She never prayed.

When all attempt fail,
She has nothing to live for,
Now she is but a shell,

Incomplete, only a shadow upon the wall
She doesn’t feel a thing,
No warmth, no joy.
The bells do not ring.

Her acting is worthy of an Oscar
She hides her pain well
Do not follow her, if you feel hurt
You must tell.
