Slow Cooked Vegetable Minestrone

1 cup vegetable broth
5 cups tomato juice
1 tablespoon dried basil
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
3 medium carrots -- sliced
4 medium celery stalks -- chopped
1 large onion -- chopped
2 cups fresh mushrooms -- sliced
1 medium red bell pepper -- diced
2 cups green beans -- fresh - trimmed and snapped
1 cup zucchini -- sliced
2 cloves garlic -- minced
28 ounces crushed tomatoes -- canned - not drained
1 1/2 cups macaroni -- (or any small pasta you choose)

Mix all ingredients except zucchini and pasta in a 5 quart crock pot (if
you have 7 use it - it'll be really full with a 5).

Cover and cook on low for 7 to 8 hours.

Stir in pasta and zucchini. Cover and cook on high for 20-30 minutes or
until pasta is done.
