Stephanie Plesac has been in many films, usually playing supporting roles. 'We Got Helmets' was her first starring role, and she recieved a nomination for a "Boobalah" award. Her success after W.G.H. was short-lived, however. The following year she was arrested for posession of opiates and an unregistered firearm, and served six months in prison. In 1989, she was suspect in the drowning murder of her ex-boyfriend Horace VanBuren. And once cleared of the charges, she went into seclusion and did not resurface until 1997 when she co-starred in an independant film titled 'Phat Playback and Gamma Light' in which she played a crack whore.
