Silver Birmans are registered in Sweden with SNRF an Independent Cat Association. It is forbidden to breed silvers in the Swedish (or any other) Fife Club, SVERAK. Many other associations in Belgium, France, Germany, and Switzerland also recognise Silvers. They have full status in TICA, South Africa, South-America and New Zealand.
