Todd Freeman) brings together a band of dangerous killers. 10/10 Band Candy Buffy must take on Mr. Trick (guest star K. Todd Freeman) again when he causes all the adults in town to act like teen-agers; Buffy tries to keep Angel a secret. 8/10 Revelations Tempers run hot when the gang learns of Angel's return and Buffy's harboring this vicious killer, but they all must band together to fight a demon who has arrived in Sunnydale in search of a highly powerful weapon. Meanwhile, Faith meets her new watcher, a brisk Englishwoman who is disdainful of Giles' haphazard operations. 8/10 Lovers Walk Just as Buffy enjoys a minute to revel in her S.A.T. scores and ponder her bright future, the underworld version of Sid Vicious, Spike, returns to Sunnydale a fallen man, a pathetic shell of his former self who has been left in the dust by his love Drusilla and is back to punish every one who is to blame, especially Angel. 10/10 The Wish Cordelia is granted a wish by an evil genie and moves to another reality where the Master rules with Xander and Willow by his side. 10/10 Amends As Buffy and her friends make plans for a quiet Christmas vacation, Angel is haunted by visions of his violent, demonic past, including the ghost of Jenny Calendar (guest star Robia LaMorte). Meanwhile Willow goes to great, seductive lengths to try and convince Oz that he is the one for her, and Xander painfully adjusts to his life without Cordelia. | Bad Girls A taste of the wild life leaves Buffy wanting more, and while Sunnydale is being inhabited by a long-dead demon and his vampire minions, Buffy follows Faith into her irresponsible world of reckless slaying abandon. Meanwhile, Giles fights to maintain his sanity in the face of the pompous and stuffy new watcher, while Willow, Xander, and Oz ponder their options for life after high school. 8/10 Consequences Buffy is haunted by the consequences of her and Faith's reckless behavior, while an increasingly destructive Faith refuses to feel remorse for slaying a man. The new watcher Wesley, overrides Giles's objections and instructs the two slayers to investigate the murder. Knowing the truth about the man's death, the mayor and Mr. Trick are thrilled by the possibility of imprisoning a slayer for murder. 7/10 Doppelgangland Buffy and the real Willow must save the day when Willow's doppelganger wreaks havoc on Sunnydale. 9/10 Enemies Faith and the Mayor's (guest star Harry Groener) secret alliance continues to blossom into a full blown evil force. The devious plot builds against Buffy when they conspire to rob Angel of his recently returned soul. Meanwhile, Giles has unofficially resumed his role as Watcher, as Wesley (guest star Alexis Denisof) is distracted from his sacred duties by a flirtatious Cordelia. 9/10 Earshot When Buffy's new power puts her sanity on the edge, Angel tries to prevent her from loosing her sanity; Giles and Willow try to stop a killer. 10/10 Choices Buffy decides to ruin the mayor's (guest star Harry Groener) plans; Willow must choose a college; Xander goes on a road trip. 8/10 The Prom Buffy and Angel are upset over the problems in their relationship; a villain threatens to ruin the prom. 10/10 Graduation Part 1 The Mayor starts preparing for his ascension on the day of Sunnydale High's graduation, and the gang prepares to stop him. They find out what 'ascension' really means from Anya, who was around for one. Faith tries to distract Buffy by shooting Angel with a poisonous arrow. 8/10 Graduation Part 2 Buffy tries to heal Angel all by herself. The gang enters into battle with the Mayor during the Graduation ceremony. 10/10 Season overall rating 9/10 |
