Technicalities
Gay sex happens by penetration in the anus, or by oral sex, or by both. *g* In the male anus, there's a small gland called the prostate, which usually is stimulated during penetration, and which causes the male pleasure, sort of like a female's G-spot. The male anus is really a ring of muscles which automatically will clamp down and tighten up as a pure reflex. It may not seem like a penis can fit there, but it can. Really.
The little strip of flesh between his testicles and anus is called perineum, or dubbed "the golde inch," because it's extra sensitive. When a man orgasms, his testicles will retract in towards his body. If a man has problems with orgasming too soon, or simply wants to prolong the act itself, a penis ring or a ball ring can prevent him from orgasming too soon. After an orgasm, a man takes between 10 - 20 minutes before he can get it up again. This might vary from man to man.
Semen does *not* taste sweet. Most semen tastes bitter with a salty tinge, but the taste may vary from man to man, like their recovery time and the size of their dicks.

Preparation
Too much lube is almost enough...
I saw the above statement at another webpage and thought it was excellent. I don't know who stated it first, but whoever it was, s/he was smart! It doesn't really look like a penis can fit up an asshole, right? So preparation is definitely needed. Lots of preparation.
There's millions of things you can use as a lube; Lubricant (the kind you buy in stores), food (whipped cream, chocolate sauce, creamy peanut butter...), oils (massage oils, food oils...), saliva, semen, soap, etc, etc. I once read a Sentinel story where Blair used butter to lube up Jim. That was probably one of the funniest things I've ever read, but - hey - it worked! :o)
I know a lot of people are fans of the "one finger, two fingers, three fingers, dick" way of preparation (and yes, I shamelessly stole that phrase from Minotaur's website), but I think it's getting a little old. Small changes - any changes - are good in this case. Like starting with two fingers, preparing the bottom with a dildo, etc, etc. Preparing somebody with rimming is also a nice way of walking around the usual.

Positions
Missionary style/splits
The classical missionary style with the top...well, on top. They're facing each other. The bottom has to roll his hips a little. They can be both close so they can smooch, or the top can raise himself up. One or both of the bottom's legs usually is hooked in the top's elbows or over the top's shoulders to make it easier on both of them. Once the top is inside the bottom, the bottom's legs can be moved to the top's waist.
From behind - laying down
The bottom is either lying face down or kneeling. The hips should be raised a little if the top wants easier access. Actually, it's pretty much the "doggy style."
From behind - standing
It's easier if the bottom's bent over at the waist, supporting himself with his hands towards something. A table, a wall, a fence... Another form for the "doggy style."
Going To Church
Oral sex position where the receiver is standing up, while the giver is kneeling in front of him.
Riding
The bottom sits on the top, just like when girls are on top in hetero sex. The bottom can sit facing either way. If he sits facing the top, the top can always play with the bottom's cock since the bottom probably will need one or both hands to support himself.
69
Oral sex position; they're lying facing each other's cocks so they both can give and receive at the same time. The position is named after the number's position to each other. Lots of fun and pleasure for both parts. And at the same time, even. ;o)
Spoons
Sideways - not convenient if you're writing a very "lusty" nor "needy" story that involves frantic fucking rather than slow love-making, because a fast fuck in this position is bound to give both men sore muscles no matter what. The top can help the bottom keep one of his legs up for easier access.

Locations
In the bed: Well, that one was a given, huh? Lots of fun can be had in the bed, whether we're talking kinks or vanilla...
In the car: A little cramped, but no less possibly. :o)
Outdoors: Behind a bush, in the park at night, at the playground, at the cemetery, up against a tree, in the forest - you name it. That's the great thing about sex. You can have it almost everywhere.
At the beach: A more specific version of "Outdoors." And we know that Sunnydale does have a beach nearby ("Go Fish"). Although sand in your underwear can really be a drag...
Hotel rooms: Meaning dingy, crappy hotel rooms with bad lighting and pay-by-the-hour systems. Always handy if you're randy as hell, there's no private spots nearby and home is too far away.\
In a chair: Although it better be a comfortable chair. Xander's red chair (the one he tied Spike to) seems comfortable. And I'm sure Graham's got a nice, big, comfy armchair somewhere.
On the couch: Of course! Once again, it might get a bit cramped, since couches tend to be smaller than beds, but no less fun!
On the floor: Hard, fast, and so unbelievably horny that there's no time to reach the bed or the couch, even though they're both only a few steps away. ;o)
In the water: In the pool, at the beach, in the tub... Water is a fun thing - just don't drown out boys while you're at it!
In the shower: A light version of "In the water." Less risk of drowning, but still fun! Waterfalls fall under the same category, if you're writing a jungle-AU. (Think "The Blue Lagoon.")
On the table: Oh, come on! Shoving aside all plates and knives and forks and whatever's on the table, in order to ravish your lover right then and there...? It's a clichè begging you to use it!
In public: Think dressing rooms, locker rooms, publis restrooms, etc, etc, etc. Things can get very interesting! *waggles eyebrows*

Dictionary
Blowjob: Oral sex; sex using the mouth.
Entering/Going in dry: The top enters the bottom without any form for lubrication. This will *always* hurt, no matter how 'well-used' or how stretched you are. Normally used in evil stories and rape stories.
Fetish: Many people think a kink and a fetish are the same - they're not. While kinks are for fun, a fetish is something the person who has the fetish cannot find pleasure without. So if Angel had a foot fetish, he had to play with Spike's feet, or Spike with his own, if he were to feel true pleasure.
Fisting: Putting your whole hand/arm up the anus, making a fist.
Kinks: A kink is something extra brought into the 'game' to bring the parts more joy. Toys, BDSM, food, etc.
Perineum: Also a highly sensitive spot in the man's anus. Can be stimulated by caressing the area between the testicles and anus.
Pre-cum: When aroused, most guys' penises leaks some small drops of semen. This is normally called pre-cum. It can be everything from some tiny beads to large drops. (Note that some men don't have pre-cum.)
Prostate: A small gland sitting in anus. Can be considered the man's G-spot.
Rimming: Using one's tongue on the other's asshole - licking a guy's ass.
Shagging, rutting, screwing, coupling, fucking, etc: I firmly believe everybody knows these. In short, they all simply mean to have sex.
Slash: Same sex. m/m is two males, f/f is two females. Although Slash is primarily used to describe m/m stories, it also counts for f/f stories.
Top/bottom: In a male/female situation this expression is normally used after who is literally on top, but in male/male slash situations it is normally used after who's giving and who's receiving. The "giver" is usually called the top, even though the "receiver," or the bottom, may actually be riding him.
For synonyms for penis, I'd check out "Austin Powers 2; The Spy Who Shagged Me." Watch for Dr. Evil's moon rocket, and you'll see what I mean.

Kinks
First; A kink is *not* the same as a fetish. A fetish is something a person "craves" or needs to feel pleasure, while a kink is something extra brought in to *heighten* the pleasure. There's tons of stuff you can use when writing kinks, and not everything moves into the BDSM world. Most people associates kinks with one of the letters in BDSM, but it ain't necessarily so. Here's a handy, little lst over stuff you can use as kinks:
-Dildos
-Vibrators
-Cock rings
-Whips
-Paddles
-Piercings
-Food (think ice cream, chocolate sauce, etc...)
-Handcuffs
-Chains
-Scarfs/other clothes articles
-Rope
-Water (trust me, it can be kinky...)
-Feathers (maybe Xander is ticklish?)
-Buttplugs
-Clamps (as in nipple clamps...)
-Gags
-Pillows (yes, pillows can be kinky too...)
-Blindfolds
A lot of the things above belongs in the BDSM world, but on the other hand, a lot of the things doesn't. Also, there are several things which can be used either way. Use your imagination. Elaborate and write long, hot scenes. Phone sex, sex in the shower, sex in the pool, sex outside, sex in public, voyeurism, exhibitionism, sex in the car, sex outside the car, sex in an alley,, stripping, sex with loving words and tender looks, sex... well, you get the picture.
Using bloodplay for pleasure is *not* an option. That's for vampires, not humans like Graham and Xander.
